Esha Deol and Sunny Deol have been hitting all the headlines for the past couple of months, ever since the former gave the latter’s son, Karan Deol’s wedding a miss. The move has naturally caught all the attention, and netizens have been quick to speculate that all hasn’t been well between legendary actor, Dharmendra’s two families. However, putting every other speculation to an end, Esha not only wholeheartedly came forward to support and praise Sunny’s latest film, but also revealed several anecdotes about the bond they share, which hinted at everything being well.
In a recent interview with ETimes, Esha Deol spoke her mind about the ongoing buzz, indicating a feud between her and her half-brother, Sunny Deol. Esha specifically mentioned that despite all that has been circulating about the situation, she doesn’t want to go that extra mile and put everything in clear record publicly. Moreover, she even reminded that her coming aboard to support Sunny’s film and posing together with him was not a publicity stunt, and was merely something organic and came out of true love and respect for her brother. In her words:
“Honestly, the picture happened very organically. It was not planned. We are very private as a family. We are very respectful towards each other. I feel that whether I tie him Rakhi or not is none of anyone else’s business. But I think because we are actors, people want to do that moment I have been tying rakhi to my brothers since I was a kid and we continue doing so. But we are not here to prove to people. Like I said, the photo at ‘Gadar 2’ screening happened very organically. That was a beautiful moment and we saw the audience and the public getting emotional about it. But for us, we have a lot of pictures together in our family, I think.”

Well, ever since the four half-siblings of the Deol-clan, Sunny Deol-Bobby Deol and Esha Deol-Ahana Deol have been viral, nearly every netizen has been hinting that the gesture was certainly made as a damage control move due to the buzz about everything nit being well between them. For the unversed, the four of them posed for a hearty photograph when Esha Deol held a private screening of Sunny Deol’s film, Gadar 2 at her place. Reacting to the same, Hema Malini, in one of her previous interviews with News18, shared that such a moment was nothing unusual, as it has happened in real life countless times. She had mentioned:
“Many times they keep coming home and all but we do not publish it anywhere, we are not the type to take pictures and immediately put it up on Instagram. We are not that kind of a family.”
A few days back, in an interview with India Today, Esha Deol reacted on watching Sunny Deol’s supremely successful film, Gadar 2 and heaped praises on the latter for his unbelievable success. The diva highlighted how she knew that someone as talented as her brother was capable of bringing forth such magnanimous success at the box-office, and credited him for his dedicated hard work to create such a brilliant film.

In comparison to the hyped discord between the Deol half-siblings, everything has always remained pretty smooth between them right from the beginning. And the same got revealed in Esha Deol’s candid revelation in her mother, Hema Malini’s biography, Beyond The Dreamgirl. Esha had revealed how she mandatorily ties Rakhi to both Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. She further mentioned how she looked up to the former as a father figure in her life.
