Esha Deol has made her impeccable mark in the film industry, and has created her own identity different from that of her legendary actor parents, Dharmendra and Hema Malini. Esha made her debut in 2002 with the film, Koi Mere Dil Se Pooche, for which she subsequently bagged Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Thereafter, she became a part of some of the most successful and high-octane films, including Dhoom, Dus, No Entry, Na Tum Jaano Na Hum, LOC: Kargil among so many others. In her personal life, Esha is happily married to the love of her life, Bharat Takhtani, and the duo is blessed with two daughters, Radhya and Miraya.
In a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, Esha Deol opened up about an unheard and weird anecdote about her film journey. The diva recalled a time when, during the shooting of one of her films, her co-actor wanted to marry her. Without divulging the person’s name, Esha shared how the actor wanted her to quit acting when she had just started out. Moreover, she also revealed the moment she spoke to her mom, Hema Malini about it, and revealed her reaction. In her words:
“I had just started out and he said ‘Will get married, stop acting’. I did not know what to do. I came home and told my mom and she was like so sweet.”

In one of her previous interviews with The Times Of India, Esha Deol spoke about her parenting style with her daughters, Radhya and Miraya. She called herself the ‘panda parent’ and revealed that as compared to her own mother, Hema Malini’s parenting style, which was mostly chill, while on the other hand, she is possessive and strict.
Further, in the same interview, Esha Deol spoke about being a working mom, and revealed how she manages to take care of both her home and work at the same time. Esha highlighted that such a path was chosen by her, and added how along with raising her daughters, she has sustained her passion as an actress.

In an earlier interview with Bollywood Bubble, Esha spoke about how she got selected for her role in Aditya Chopra’s film, Dhoom. She further shared an anecdote and highlighted how at the time of her selection, she had to seek her mother, Hema Malini’s permission in order to wear a bikini for a scene in the film. She had mentioned:
“He said that you will have to wear a bikini, so are you ready to do that? So I said just give me one day, let me take permission from my mom whether I can wear a bikini. Then I came home and asked her. I was very scared when I was asking her. Her reaction was very different. She was like yeah, wear. What is in that? You wear it with your friends or when you go on holiday. But, make sure it’s shot nicely. So I went back and told him.”
