Bollywood actress, Esha Deol is the darling daughter of veteran actors, Dharmendra and Hema Malini. There is no denying the fact that Esha is extremely attached to her father, and she never fails to miss a chance to shower her love on him. The actress is an avid social media user, and her IG handle is nothing short of a treasure trove. And yet again, Esha blessed our feeds with her rare throwback picture and made us nostalgic.
On August 10, 2023, Esha Deol shared a rare childhood picture of herself with her father, Dharmendra. The picture showed a young Esha dressed in a pink-hued saree as she sat on a couch while her dad was lying down behind her. However, it was Esha's goofy expressions that caught our attention, as she had made a funny face. Alongside the picture, the actress penned a note, which can be read as:
"Never understood why I couldn’t keep a straight face as a kid in photos. I guess that explains the nautanki in me. With my darling papa at one of his outdoor shoots back in the 80s."

When Hema Malini and her daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol graced Simi Garewal's talk show, Rendezvous With Simi Garewal, the veteran actress revealed that her husband, Dharmendra likes their daughters to be always dressed up in ethnic ensembles. Esha also recalled how she would make Dharmendra accept her decision to join films slowly, as he would get angry. The loving daughter also revealed her father, Dharmendra's possessive side and revealed that he always asks them to sit at home. Mentioning that his upbringing is Punjabi type, Esha revealed that it is only because of their mother that they could go out for sports and all.
On the personal front, Esha Deol tied the knot with the love of her life, Bharat Takhtani, on June 29, 2012, at Iskcon Temple. And later, in October 2017, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, Radhya Takhtani. Finally, in June 2019, Esha and Bharat again became parents with the birth of their second daughter, Miraya Takhtani. Since then, the family of four have been living their lives to the fullest and enjoying every moment together.

Earlier, in an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, Esha Deol had revealed the meaning of her daughters, Radhya and Miraya's names. Taking about the same, Esha said that she loves how Radhya and Miraya sound together and added that both the girls have something common in their names. She shared the significance behind her daughters' names and said when Lord Krishna worships Radha, it's called Radhya, while Miraya means a devotee of Lord Krishna.
