Esha Deol is one of the most talented actresses of her generation in Bollywood. Daughter of talented actor parents, Dharmendra and Hema Malini, Esha had made her debut in Bollywood with the film, Koi Mere Dil Se Pooche in 2002, that went on to fetch her the Filmfare Award For Best Female Debut that year. Thereafter, she has been a part of several classic films, including Kaal, Na Tum Jaano Na Hum, Kucch To Hai, LOC: Kargil, Dhoom among others. Taking to her IG handle on October 13, 2023, Esha Deol dropped a candid snapshot with her mother, Hema Malini. The duo could be seen sitting in a movie hall, as they enjoyed watching a film together. Speaking about their OOTD, while Esha flaunted her uber-cool look in a denim jacket and a pair of glasses, Hema Malini donned a simple white and blue-hued printed kurta. Along with the picture, Esha penned a sweet note, and revealed how she celebrated National Cinema Day with the most special person in her life. Her note could be read as:

Back on October 6, 2923, Esha Deol had dropped a picture of her mommy, Hema Malini on her IG handle, wherein the diva could be seen donning a beautiful green-hued ombre printed silk saree. She had open tresses and light touch-up on her face, which simply enhanced her gorgeous personality. However, it was the diva’s way of carrying a shopping bag as a purse that caught our attention. Elaborating more about it, Hema’s daughter, Esha penned a caption, where she mentioned how her mother has a very unique fashion choice, that often chooses simple things over designer wear. Esha had written:
“In a world filled with designer wear the dream girl seems to be happy carrying a shopping bag as her purse - reason 'it’s easy all my stuff fits in so why not'. That’s what I call the simple pleasures in life. Way to go, love you, mamma."
In one of her earlier interviews with News18, Esha Deol had spilt beans on the chances of her mother, Hema Malini making a comeback. For the unversed, Hema was last seen in the film, Shimla Mirchi in 2020. Moreover, on the other hand, Esha’s daddy, Dharmendra, too, made a stunning performance this year with Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. However, speaking about her mother, Esha revealed how she has been pushing her mother to make a comeback, and added that the latter too has been waiting for it.

In a previous interview with Bollywood Bubble, Esha Deol had narrated an unheard anecdote from her film journey, as she recalled a moment when, during the shooting of one of her films, her co-actor wanted to marry her. Without divulging the person’s name, Esha shared how the actor wanted her to quit acting when she had just started out. Moreover, she also recalled the moment she spoke to her mom, Hema Malini about it, and revealed her reaction. In her words:
“I had just started out and he said ‘Will get married, stop acting’. I did not know what to do. I came home and told my mom and she was like so sweet.”
