Bollywood actress, Esha Deol, was born to a set of glamorous parents, veteran actors, Hema Malini and Dharmendra, and she has seen how to balance professional and personal lives from the best. She has been in the entertainment world for years and has even made a name for herself. But, apart from being a working woman, she is a daughter, a sister, a wife, and a mother to two wonderful daughters, Miraya and Radhya.
From being a dancer to an actress to working in web shows to turning into a producer with her husband, Bharat Takhtani, Esha has seen all phases of working life. But, she had lived quite a low profile life post-marriage. For the unversed, she had tied the marital knot with Bharat Takhtani in 2012, and since then, she had taken a long gap from the glamour world.
In a recent interview with ETimes, Esha Deol shared what she thinks is the key to maintaining a balanced life, as she is again diving into her acting career. She said:
“I am certainly not a veteran when it comes to handling married life, being a mother and an actor-producer. I am learning as each day comes because life is constantly changing. Our circumstances keep changing and with each day you get something new to learn. I am not perfect. I enjoy being a daughter, a mother, a wife and a working woman at the same time. I take each day as it comes. We all make mistakes and we learn from them. I think the most important thing I have learnt from all this is the importance of patience. Patience is the key, definitely!”
Further going into the conversation, Esha shed some light on her opinion that women can multi-task. In her words:
“There are so many women who have been striking a balance between work and personal life. We being from the showbiz get talked about. The thing about women is that we are good with multitasking.”
In an old interview with ETimes, Esha had shared how motherhood has transformed her life and made her different. Talking about the same, she had said:
"Motherhood has been a game-changer for me. It has transformed me in many ways and made me a woman. It is a beautiful blessing that every woman goes through. It is divine; I love it!"
Esha Deol was last seen in the OTT-released short film, Ek Duaa and her next web series, Rudra- The Edge of Darkness, is slated to release on an OTT platform, opposite Ajay Devgn.
