Rupali Ganguly's family secrets are now out in the public. Her stepdaughter, Esha Verma, has been openly talking about her painful childhood after her parents, Ashwin K Verma and Sapna Verma, separated due to his extra-marital affair with television actress, Rupali Ganguly. Esha, for the first time, shared a video on her Instagram talking about her childhood trauma and how Rupali and her father, Ashwin K Verma, contributed to it.
A person's childhood trauma can mess up their entire life, and Esha Verma is living proof of the same. The youngster issued a video message on her Instagram account and shared that Rupali Ganguly and Ashwin K Verma hurt both her and her mother but never apologised for the same. In Esha's words:

“I may be 26 now, but the pain and memories still stick, affecting both my future and present. Through all of this, I have had to stand up against my bullies. It wasn’t just me who was hurt; my mother was, too. They didn’t acknowledge me. They chose to abandon me, criticise me, and pick on my insecurities. They never apologised to me, either publicly or personally."
Esha Verma added that what hurt her the most was her father's response to the entire fiasco. She added that Ashwin was her father, but he never protected her; instead, he mocked her mental health and never ever protected her. Esha added that Ashwin has never taken responsibility for his actions and has always ignored her. In Esha's words:
"What hurt the most was my own father’s response — he chose to mock mental health. He didn’t shield me from the harsh comments I faced, nor did he protect me throughout my life. Not taking accountability for your actions and ignoring it like nothing happened. That’s your response to me for the last 24 years of my life.”
In an interaction with BollywoodShadis, Esha shared her first face-to-face meeting with her father, Ashwin K Verma's third wife. She revealed that she was with her mother, Sapna, in Mumbai at her grandparents' house. Rupali came there and was screaming. She called it a scary meeting as she was yelling and even scratched her mother's face. Recalling the moment, Esha said:
"She came to my grandparents apartment in Mumbai and she was screaming and started fighting and hitting my mommy. She even scratched my mother in the face and that's how it started. But I remember that I was so scared. And it was like the villain had come, someone I had heard about all the years came face to face. Hurting my mom was so terrifying to see and go through."
Further in the conversation with BollywoodShaadis, Esha shared that for a long time, she wanted to tell the world the truth about being Ashwin K Verma's daughter. However, she is older now and has realised that it is okay if her father doesn't want to be in her life. While she is missing out on a lot in life, her father has never been in her life. Esha also stated that she was initially terrified, but she is now braver and stronger.
