The nine months of wait is finally going to end for Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actress, Evelyn Sharma as she is all set to welcome her first baby any day now. The actress has been sharing glimpses from her first pregnancy and has been making the most of it. For the unversed, in 2019, Tushaan Bhindi had proposed to Evelyn Sharma but the COVID-19 pandemic had delayed their plan to get hitched.
In 2021, Evelyn and Tushaan had tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony. A month later, on July 11, 2021, Evelyn had announced the news of her pregnancy on her IG handle. She had shared a picture of herself lying down on a sunbed and had worn a yellow and white-hued monokini, flaunting her cute baby bump. Alongside it, the mommy-to-be had written:
"Can’t wait to hold you in my arms."
Evelyn’s wait to hold her baby is about to end as she is in the last few days of her pregnancy. A few hours back, Evelyn shared a picture on her IG handle, flaunting her full-grown baby bump and pregnancy glow. The happiness to meet her firstborn, soon, was quite evident on Evelyn’s face. Sharing the picture, she wrote:
“Not long to go now! #cantwait #mummytobe #babybhindi.”
On July 13, 2021, Evelyn had taken an indirect dig at people’s double standards. She had shared a picture from her birthday celebrations, flaunting her baby bump in a blue-coloured bodycon dress. Evelyn’s pregnancy glow was unmissable in the picture. Sharing how now people are applauding her for the bigger belly, she had captioned the picture as:
“First-time people are applauding a bigger belly in my photos!”
On July 12, 2021, Evelyn had turned a year older and had taken to her IG handle to share pictures from the celebrations. Along with the pictures, she had revealed how she had baked her favourite German cake. Her caption could be read as:
“Mommy happy, baby happy… also, I baked this cake for 6 hours lol and we got pretty close to my favourite German cake!"
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Evelyn Sharma, who is currently in Australia with her husband, Tushaan Bhindi, had shared how it feels to welcome a child amidst the pandemic and how excited she is to welcome her first child. She had said:
''All is going well and we can’t wait to hold our little one in our arms very soon. We can’t wait to introduce the little one to our family and friends around the world. And you can imagine how much I miss my beautiful India.''
Going further in the interview, Evelyn Sharma had talked about enjoying her pregnancy journey in Australia and had added:
''It’s been a fantastic place to stay during the pandemic. And, of course, to safely start our little family. It would have been wonderful to have close family and friends nearby during pregnancy, but we are blessed with a very community here, too.''
