Ex-couple, Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth had shocked their massive fan base when they announced the news of their separation on the unfortunate night of January 17, 2022. For the unversed, the duo had tied the knot in 2004, and are blessed with two kids, Yatra Raja(2006) and Linga Raja(2010). Even though the couple has separated, they have decided to co-parent their kids. They are indeed doting parents who never let their difference come in the path of their kids' future. Glimpses of the same are found on their latest public appearance.
Post their separation, both Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth have moved on in their lives and are busy fulfilling their work commitments. Earlier, to announce their separation after 18 long years of married life, Aishwaryaa and Dhanush had shared a lengthy note on their respective social media handles. Requesting everyone to give them privacy to deal with it, the couple had penned:
"18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well-wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting... Today we stand at a place where our paths separate... Aishwaryaa and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better. Please do Respect our decision and give us the needed privacy to deal with this."

On August 22, 2022, Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth shared a picture from her sons, Yatra and Linga's school function on her Instagram handle. In the photo, the doting mommy was seen clicking a picture of her elder son, Yatra while he was taking oath as Sports captain. Sharing it, she captioned the photo as:
“What a way to start the day! Monday morning watching the Investiture Ceremony of school, where my first born takes up oath as sports captain.”
We also stumbled upon another picture from Yatra and Linga's school function which made its way on social media. In the picture, the celeb kids were seen posing with their doting parents, Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth. While their elder son was seen flaunting his Sports Captain sache with pride in his school uniform, their younger kid sported a wide smile on his face while posing for the lens. As per reports, Aishwaryaa was using Dhanush's name until March 23, 2022, but she changed it on March 24, 2022. Currently, we can see her father's name along with her name on her Instagram bio. For the unversed, though the couple broke millions of hearts with the news of their separation, they have maintained a dignified silence on the same and had requested their fans and media to understand their decision.
