South Indian actress, Sunainaa made her debut in Tollywood with a Telegu film, Kumar Vs Kumari in 2005. Following this, she was part of a number of South Indian movies, including Something Special, 10th class, Kadhalil Vizhunthen, Samar, Kaali, Neerparavai and Sillu Karupatti. Apart from this, she was also seen in the Tamil Bigg Boss 4.
It was in 2022, when reports surfaced in the media claiming a shocking incident for the fans of South Indian actress, Sunainaa. It was reported that the actress was missing for two days. Soon, the report went viral on social media. There were also a number of reports talking about the actress' alleged kidnapping and that the Tamil Nadu police had also launched an investigation to find her.

However, all such reports were just a part of her film, Regina's promotion. The following reports suggested that it was just a film stunt planned by Sunainaa's movie's filmmakers. Soon, netizens were so irked by the same thing that they demanded legal action against Sunainaa and the film production team. For the unversed, Sunainaa’s Tamil film Regina was released on June 23, 2023, and the thriller was based on the life of an upright and straightforward girl whose world completely changed when her father was killed. Thus, to create a sensational moment, Sunainaa went missing and was not reachable over the phone either, as per the script planned by the makers.
But the netizens were so angry due to the same that Sunainaa then had to apologise for her disappearance for two days. The actress revealed that she never thought that such a minor issue would end up like this. However, clarifying that she was completely fine, the actress mentioned that she wanted to take some time to get involved in a character in a film. However, she came out getting completely exhausted due to the same, and said:
“I was shooting for a film, It is an important film in my career. This character is also very important for my career. So, I was trying to focus and concentrate and it was tough. So, I had to isolate myself for the character of the film and now, I am exausted."

Recently, rumours were rife about Sunainaa's engagement with Dubai-based YouTuber, Khalid Al Ameri. Sunainaa's fiance was earlier married to Salama Mohamed, but recently, the latter confirmed their divorce in an interview. Following this, reports started surfacing in the media that Khalid got engaged to the Tamil actress, courtesy of their recent posts. On June 5, 2024, Sunaina took to her IG handle and posted a monochrome picture, holding a man's hand. Later, Khalid too, posted a similar photo, wherein he held a girl's hand while the duo was flaunting their diamond rings.
