Farah Khan's cook, Dilip, has gained immense love from viewers with his innocent yet unfiltered persona in the vlogs on the filmmaker's YouTube channel. From his grounded appearance to his on-point wit, netizens enjoy seeing him on-screen with Farah. However, a recent vlog posted by the director has left netizens fuming.
Farah Khan's YouTube channel has gained over 1.5 million subscribers, with the audience in awe of the host, the guests, and, most of all, Dilip. However, when Farah Khan released her latest episode, featuring casting director, Mukesh Chhabra, his behaviour towards Dilip left netizens angered. In the episode, Mukesh was seen making Dilip audition for a role and then telling him to stick to the kitchen.
However, that was not the only instance when the viewers thought that Mukesh Chhabra was rude towards Dilip. In another scene, while cooking biryani with the casting director, Dilip was once again mistreated by the former. Mukesh made a snide remark at Dilip and told him that he didn't know how to act or how to make biryani. Nonetheless, what enraged the viewers was when Mukesh pushed Dilip.
During the vlog, Farah Khan advises Dilip not to stand in the shadows. However, in a joking manner, he went and stood in front of the filmmaker herself. Mukesh Chabbra intervened at the moment and pushed Dilip aside, which the viewers found unnecessary and rude. However, Farah spoke up in defense of Dilip by saying he acts well while asking for a salary hike. While the audience acknowledged that the episodes contained some scripted bits, they found the action disrespectful on every level and made sure to share their views on the same.
Soon, the clip of Mukesh Chabbra pushing Dilip aside was shared on the discussion platform, Reddit and netizens made sure their dismay was evident. They took to the comment section and soon shared their opinion. A user penned, "Tbh, Mukesh is the biggest b**ot and a**hole, pardon meri angrezi. I would love it if this man gets a little bit of hate that other people unnecessarily get." Another wrote, "This man has God Complex. Talk to him for 5 minutes, and you'll understand." A comment read, "That was so inappropriate. He got physical so quickly." A user stated:

"It came to my attention, too, while watching the video. Mukesh Chhabra pulled him forcefully without realising that Dilip was doing it in jest. It was very rude. Even earlier in the episode, he insults Dilip bitterly by telling him that he doesn't have any acting talent, and then Farah subtly comes to Dilip's defense by saying he acts well while asking for a salary hike. The vibe was off during this video as compared to all the other guests Farah has on her show."
A section of netizens found Mukesh Chabbra's behaviour towards Dilip classist and elitist. A user penned, "He gives an elitist vibe. Not tolerated to anyone beyond their tax bracket." Another wrote, "Ew he behaves like a classist, cringe. Needs to be humbled." A comment read, "Mukesh is a horrible human being. He is so arrogant about himself. Treats actors wanting work like shit. There are much better-behaved casting directors. Shanoo and him take the top post for being awful human beings." A user in a long note stated:
"I feel so bad for Dilip! I know Farah wants to be funny/make it appear as if it’s fun banter, but I honestly feel uncomfortable with the sorts of things she gets Dilip to say/says to him and makes him do. She should know where to draw the line. How disrespectful."
