Farah Khan is one of the most talented choreographers and filmmakers in the Hindi film industry. She never shies away from melting the hearts of the cine-lovers with some of her notable works, such as Happy New Year, Om Shanti Om, and Main Hoon Na among others. Talking about her personal life, Farah is married to Shirish Kunder and is blessed with triplets, Diva, Anya, and Czar. The nation is caught up in the celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi. And Farah, too, provided us with a glimpse of her low-key celebrations of Ganesh puja at home. Moreover, it was her response to a fan's criticism that won hearts.
Taking to her IG handle, Farah Khan dropped a picture that featured the low-key Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at her home. In the photo, we can also see Huma Qureshi and Patralekhaa. All three ladies looked stunning in their respective traditional attires as they posed alongside each other with folded hands. Huma looked absolutely gorgeous as she donned a purple-hued salwar suit. Patralekhaa, on the other hand, kept it chic and classy as she opted for a beige-hued saree.
Farah, on the other hand, looked stunning in a printed co-ord set. With light makeup and open hair, she completed her look. To accentuate her look, the eminent filmmaker chose to wear a pair of sober earrings, a delicate neckpiece, and a pair of stylish slippers. Although Farah made her fans go gaga over her looks, some of the netizens were irked.
As soon as Farah Khan dropped the pictures, netizens rushed to the comment section and they pointed out the diva's slippers. Reacting to the photo, netizens started dropping mean comments by advising Farah that she should not keep her slippers on in front of Ganesh Ji. A comment about the same can be read as "Plz remove ur slippers in front of ganesha". However, Farah was quick to react to the same. Reacting to the comment, Farah clearly stated that the picture was not taken in front of Ganpati Bappa. Rather, the picture was taken at the outside. Farah's reply to the troll can be read as:
"we were outside the house thank you very much."
Earlier, in an interview with Maniesh Paul in his podcast, Farah Khan recalled the difficult times she had to go through after the death of her father, Kamran Khan, in her childhood. The filmmaker revealed how she and her brother, Sajid, struggled to arrange finances even for their father's funeral. Talking more about the same, Farah shared that she and her brother started indulging in dark humour, which gave them solace. Mentioning how they began to make fun of the guests who arrived at their father’s funeral, Farah shared:
“About a week or two after our father’s passing, we found solace in dark humour. We began to make fun of the people who came to the funeral noting how some of them appeared very fake and all that was running in their mind was finding a place to play cards. This kind of humour played a crucial role in helping us cope during challenging times. Otherwise, it’s easy to succumb to depression.”
