Farah Khan recently invited The Traitors fame, Apoorva Mukhija, to her home, and in her unique YouTube cooking vlog. The choreographer-director had a blast with Apoorva, enjoying her Gen-Z vibes. But when Apoorva quipped that she wanted to find a guy and get married, Farah gave her life-saving advice, drawing on an anecdote from her own life.
In her latest vlog, Farah straight away told Apoorva not to think of getting married at the age of 23. It all started when Apoorva revealed that she was already thinking about marriage. A shocked Farah stated that she was too young to get married. Farah added that at the age of 23, she wanted to get married, thinking her life was over. However, her decision was met with a big resounding 'no' from the outset, leaving her with a resounding 'no'.
Farah revealed that her mother warned her that she would throw her out of the home if she got married at 23. After which, she cried and created a scene, even calling her mother her 'dushman'. Recalling the incident, Farah said:
"At 23, I wanted to get married. I thought my life is now over. ‘Kya hi hai life mein?’ And my mom was like, ‘If you get married so young, I will throw you out of my house.’ I cried and created a scene. I said, ‘Other parents want their daughters to get married and you are my dushman.'"
Farah reflected on it and revealed that she is grateful to have got married at the age of 40, and she is extremely happy, as she has three beautiful children and a lovely husband. The choreographer said:
"But today, I am grateful that I got married around 40. I am very happy. I have three beautiful children. A good husband. At 40, you do whatever you want."
Apoorva then asked her if she should get married at 40. To which Farah told her that she can get married at 30, but not at this age, as her mind is not yet grown. Apoorva added that she can find someone now and get married at the age of 30.

In the same vlog, Apoorva asked her if she enjoys working for YouTube. She accepted that she had too much fun. Explaining her idea of YouTube, Farah revealed that she had written scripts for films but kept waiting for the availability of the actors, which gave her anxiety. People think that once you become famous, there is no stress, but the biggest stars get anxious.
Farah added that she was receiving multiple offers, but she wanted to start something on her own terms on her YouTube channel. However, she wasn't planning to start a podcast and run after Bollywood stars, so she took her cook along with her and made a YouTube vlog.
For those who don't know, Farah Khan is married to Shirish Kunder, a filmmaker and editor. He had worked on over 21 films as its editor, and made his directorial debut with Jaan-E-Mann. He met Farah when she was making her directorial debut with Main Hoon Na. Their marriage made headlines as Farah was eight years older than Shirish.
