Farah Khan Reveals The First Salary Of Her Cook, Dilip In Vlog With Ashneer Grover, '20,000 Se Ab..'

Farah Khan is a popular filmmaker and choreographer, who has given some hit films like Om Shaanti Om, Happy New Year, Main Hoon Na and more. Since, the past few months, the choreographer has been receiving a lot of love from fans because of her YouTube cooking vlogs, along with her cook, Dilip. In the latest vlog, Farah Khan revealed Dilip's first as well as current salary. 

Dilip’s first salary was Rs. 20,000

On September 12, 2025, Farah Khan posted her YouTube vlog, in which she visited Ashneer Grover’s house. In the vlog, the director gave a house tour of Ashneer’s amazing house. They even cooked together. In the middle of the vlog, Ashneer’s mother recalled an incident of Dilip, where he had to come to Delhi in search of a job and that time he used to get only Rs. 300. Hearing this, Farah Khan quickly reacted and said, "Toh mere pass jab aaya tha toh seedha 20,000 se kyun chaalu kiya?" To this, Ashneer's wife, Madhuri reminded Farah and said, "Because he knew you are Farah Khan." During the same conversation, Farah Khan hinted at Dilip's huge salary and playfully asked everyone to not ask about that. She had said:

"Chaalu kiya tha 20,000 se ab toh pucho hi mat."

Farah Khan’s never-ending support for Dilip

This wasn’t the first time that Dilip’s salary was discussed, during an earlier vlog with Shruti Hassan, the Main Hoon Na director had opened up about Dilip’s earnings and revealed that he earns more than everybody in this room. It can be said that Farah Khan’s vlog has changed Dilip’s life. Apart from this, Farah Khan revealed in one of her vlogs that she has enrolled his children in an English-medium school and is supporting one child to pursue a culinary diploma. Her gesture had won several hearts. Days ago, popular choreographer, Geeta Kapoor had also mentioned that Farah Khan made Dilip a social media star overnight.
