Popular beauty blogger, Hanna S Khan announced her separation from her husband, Shah Rukh Merchant. The news comes as a shock to her fans as her marital life seemed like a fairytale on social media. Moreover, she often shared glimpses of her happily ever after on her social media handles. For the unversed, the popular social media influencer tied the knot with the man of her dreams on March 3, 2021. Their wedding was nothing less than a dreamy affair, and it took place in Jai Mahal and Rambagh Palaces in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
On July 24, 2023, Hanna S Khan took to her Instagram handle and shared the news of her divorce. She posted four picture notes and revealed that she had decided to part ways with her husband, Shah Rukh Merchant. Sharing the note, the diva revealed that she got separated from her husband a year ago. However, it was only in July 2023 that they got officially divorced. An excerpt from a note can be read as:
"Hello everyone, I went through a separation in my marriage a year ago. I waited all this while to address this as I needed my time to process, to heal, grow personally and focus on my career. I believed an immediate announcement would only lead to a downward spiral and not allow me the time and space I needed to process everything. I signed my divorce papers last week and finally feel ready to share this publicly."

Further, in her note, Hanna revealed the reason behind her divorce and stated that she and her husband have different values and perspectives on life. She also requested her fans to respect her privacy and give her time to come to terms with her divorce. Her note can be read as:
"We differed in our core values and perspectives on life. The gap was pretty wide to fill. This is the maximum I would be comfortable sharing on a public platform and would appreciate if you guys could respect my privacy and boundaries."
For the wedding day, Hanna had ditched the traditional bright colours. She made a statement through her nikaah outfit as she had opted for a beautiful silver jacket lehenga. Her outfit was from designer, Ohaila Khan and it included a lehenga skirt which she teamed with a matching blouse, a long jacket and a sheer dupatta. The diva accentuated her look with a two-layered neckpiece, a maang-teeka and silver kaleere. Bold eye makeup, glossy lips and open tresses completed her look.
