'Ladki Beautiful' Singer, Fazilpuria Survives A Shooting Attack Near Gurugram, Police Launches Probe

Haryanvi's beloved music sensation, Fazilpuria, a.k.a Rahul Yadav, has made the whole country groove to his chartbuster songs like Ladki Beautiful over the years. He is admired across his native state for his music, rap and public presence but recently he left his fans concerned for a different reason. Fazilpuria had a terrifying encounter near Gurugram on July 14, 2025 after a few assailants opened fire at his vehicle. It has left everyone stunned, especially after knowing how close he came to danger. Here is every update you need to know about the incident so far.

Fazilpuria escapes unhurt from a shooting attack

A news report by News 18 revealed that Fazilpuria was travelling the Southern Peripheral Road near Gurugram when a sudden incident took place. A few unknown assailants opened fire at the Haryanvi singer. It appeared to be a pre-planned attack based on its nature, and multiple rounds were fired to reportedly harm Fazilpuria. However, much to the relief of his fans, he managed to escape the incident without suffering any injuries. 

Those present at the site confirmed that the gunmen, who opened fire at the vehicle, left immediately after they managed to break the glass of Fazilpuria's car. Meanwhile, the incident created panic among the people who were present near the shooting site. The Gurugram police immediately began their investigation into the case. However, it is still unclear who carried out the attack and why. Nearby CCTV footage and statements from the eyewitnesses are being examined to find answers to all these questions.

Who is rapper-singer, Fazilpuria?

Rahul Yadav took the stage name Fazilpuria after taking inspiration from his village's name. Fazilpur, near Gurugram. He became popular after he began making unique fusion music with a combination of Haryanvi folk and modern beats. It quickly made him popular across the northern part of the country and he extended his fame with hits like Ladki Beautiful, Jimmy Choo and Party across the country. 

Fazilpuria is admired, especially by young people who relate to his music. But, despite the success, he had his fair share of controversies. He was in the news after his close friend, Elvish Yadav, came under scanner for possession of snake venom. Later, he was also questioned by ED in relation to a money laundering case by the influencer.

Fazilpuria has not issued any official statement after he was caught in a firing incident. But fans are waiting to know more updates about the police investigation and are hoping that the culprits will soon be behind bars.
