He broke the news by sharing photos from the hospital, captioning them, "Mental strength is the most powerful weapon of all." In December 2023, Alessandro's entire femur, knee, and hip joints, and part of his quadriceps muscle had to be surgically removed, as per a GoFundMe page opened after his death. Despite that, he was determined to dedicate himself wholly to the treatment and stay as positive as he could. Alessandro used his social media platform to share his journey and raise money for cancer research as part of his 'F**k Cancer' project. The influencer's health rapidly worsened in the months leading up to his death. In September 2025, he was urgently hospitalised due to unbearable pain caused by spinal cord compression in the sacral plexus, and his condition continued to decline until his passing.
