He, unlike other Hollywood actors, took on a different path after appearing on screens for a few years as a child actor. Now, his demise has sparked a sense of grief around.
TMZ reported that Floyd Roger Myers Jr passed away on Wednesday morning at his home. The reason for Floyd Roger Myers Jr's death at such a young age was a cardiac arrest. His mother, Renee Trice, told TMZ that he had suffered 3 cardiac arrests over the course of the last three years. If the reports are to be followed, Floyd Roger Myers Jr seemingly suffered serious heart-related troubles, which could be hinted at by the patterns and records of his three heart attacks previously. It was in the wee hours of October 29, 2025, when he passed away, after he faced another cardiac arrest.

A GoFundMe page was created after Floyd Roger Myers Jr's demise, and in an emotional post, his mom, Renee Trice, confirmed the passing of her son. She shared a photo of her son, Floyd Roger Myers Jr, with his four kids. Floyd Roger Myers Jr is survived by his four loving kids, Taelyn, Kinsley, Tyler, and Knox. While not much about his marital status is known, it was revealed through the GoFundMe page that the former child actor was a devoted father. Sharing the photo, Renee Trice, Floyd's mother, wrote on Facebook:
"This not supposed to be so."

Floyd Roger Myers Jr's career began at a very young age, which he kick-started with his role as young 'Will Smith' in The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. He grabbed the audience's attention with his acting skills, carving a special place in their hearts, thereby marking his debut in the entertainment industry. Following this, he played the role of young 'Marlon Jackson' in the critically acclaimed TV mini series, The Jacksons: An American Dream.

Floyd Roger Myers Jr also took part in one episode of the short-lived TV drama Young Americans in 2000. Following this, he stepped away from acting and became involved in community work. He focused on empowering men and co-founded an organisation for the same, The Fellowship Men’s Group, which focuses on positive male fellowship leadership, healing, and growth.
