Famous Indian YouTuber, Gaurav Taneja and his wife, Ritu Rathee's marital life seem to have hit rock bottom. While the couple wants to keep the problem away from social media, eagle-eyed fans cannot digest their separation. In fact, the murmurs of things not well between Ritu and Gaurav started, after a video of Ritu Rathee seeking help from a spiritual Guru in Vrindavan went viral.
In a marital life, there are ups and downs, and sometimes couple hits a rough patch, but when you are a famous personality, the issues turn out to be big by fans, followers and gossipmongers. And Gaurav Taneja and Ritu Rathee are going through the same, after their divorce speculations went viral. It all started when fans spotted Ritu Rathee attending satsang of famous spritual guru, Shri Hit Premanand Govind Sharan Ji Maharaj.

Recently, eagle-eyed fans spotted Ritu Rathee in a video on the YouTube channel Bhajan Marg, in which the YouTuber's wife is seen weeping and asking a question to the spiritual guru. In the clip, Ritu's question was taken, wherein she asked the Guruji whether she should forget her bhakti marg of Radha Rani's lotus feet or should fight for her daughters' rights from her husband.
In her question, Ritu revealed how she gave love to her husband but received betrayal and humiliation in return. She also has two daughters, and while fulfilling her duties towards them, she stays away from her husband. She also has a job, through which she takes care of her daughters.
Guruji told her how God is within us and that she should fight for her daughters' rights. He further cited Arjun, who killed people to fight for his rights, so she should also fight for her family's rights. In the video, one could hear a crying lady's voice, wherein she asked if she wouldn't lose the hand of her God. To which, Guruji encouraged her to fight for what's right, as it is required for her daughters.

However, let us clarify that the video doesn't show the lady's face but a fan found out Ritu's picture in the video on Reddit. They claimed that it was Ritu indeed. Another fan even found out Ritu wearing the same suit as in the video.

On September 28, 2024, Gaurav took to his Instagram handle and posted first-ever note addressing the same. He shared a picture note in Devnagri, which could be read as "Joi Joi mohe pyaar kare, soi mohe have." The line roughly means that people who love me, I love them back.
Along with it, Gaurav expressed his feelings in a long note. He penned how he is not going to clarify his side for the sake of his children and the mother of his children. The things that is worth noting is that he didn't called Ritu, his wife, but 'mother of his children'. Further Gaurav added that he is ready to live with the negativity and hate for his entire life.
Gaurav also appealed to people to stop making assumptions about his married life. He also added that men are made villains quite easily as they do not cry or talk less. Gaurav also shared that social media is not a place to discuss family affair. He wrote:
"Will remain quiet for my kids and the mother of my child. Ready to live with all the negativity and hate for my entire life. Please don’t expect any public explanation. Please stop making any assumptions. Men are made villains very fast. We don’t cry, we talk less and express less. Some of us are hardwired like that. Social media is not a place to discuss family matters. I have nothing to say."
