Famous Indian YouTuber, Gaurav Taneja, who once hailed as the family man, got highly criticised after murmurs of his separation from his wife, Ritu Rathee, made it to the headlines. It all started after a video of Ritu from a famous Vrindavan spiritual Guru asking a question about the security of her daughters after parting ways with her husband went viral. Amidst it, Gaurav went alone with his daughters and parents to Abu Dhabi, almost confirming their separation. Now, we found out Ritu is also holidaying with her family and her daughters amidst the divorce buzz.
On October 1, 2024, Ritu's brother, Prateek, took to his Instagram handle and shared two family photos. Ritu, along with her sister's family and her brother's family, went on a vacation to the hills. In fact, her daughters, Rashbhari and Pihu, were also there with her. The YouTuber was dressed in a grey-toned sweater and held Pihu in her arms. On the other hand, Rashbhari looked super adorable, donning a velvet kurta.

It seems like Ritu's video, wherein she came forward and asked fans to stop speculating about the character of her husband, Gaurav Taneja, was shot at the same location. She was wearing the same sweater as in the video.
On September 30, 2024, Ritu, in an angry tone, admitted that she was in the viral video, but people circulating her picture online was neither required nor needed. She shared that she is not an abla naari, and doesn't need 'Ritu's army'. She further added that 'maid in your houses are able naari'. She asked her fans to solve their house help issues as they need it more.
While Ritu's intention might be right to put across the message that she doesn't need anyone's support to fight her battles, the way she brought house help in the matter was a bit shocking for her fans. People started expressing their point of view on Reddit. In the video, Ritu was quoted as saying:
"Some facts, Am I an abla naari. No I am not. Reality check, the maid who comes to your house, vo abla naari hai. Uske ghar mein us par hazaar atyachar huye. I really wish ap uske ghar pr jao or uske issues resolve krte and kahte, 'We are in your army'. Mai saksham hoon apne bacho ko paalne ke liye."
On September 28, 2024, Gaurav took to his Instagram handle and posted first-ever note addressing the same. He shared a picture note in Devnagri, which could be read as "Joi Joi mohe pyaar kare, soi mohe have." The line roughly means that people who love me, I love them back.
Along with it, Gaurav expressed his feelings in a long note. He penned how he is not going to clarify his side for the sake of his children and the mother of his children. The things that is worth taking a note of is that he didn't call Ritu, 'his wife', but 'mother of his children'. Further Gaurav added that he is ready to live with negativity and hate for his entire life.
Gaurav also appealed to people to stop making assumptions about his married life. He also added that men are made villains quite easily as they do not cry or talk less. Gaurav also shared that social media is not a place to discuss family affairs. He wrote:

"Will remain quiet for my kids and the mother of my child. Ready to live with all the negativity and hate for my entire life. Please don’t expect any public explanation. Please stop making any assumptions. Men are made villains very fast. We don’t cry, we talk less and express less. Some of us are hardwired like that. Social media is not a place to discuss family matters. I have nothing to say."
Well, we hope Ritu and Gaurav resolve their issues.
