Indian cricketer, Ravindra Jadeja followed the footsteps of his teammates, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, while bidding adieu to the T20 Internationals after winning the T20I 2024 World Cup. Ever since the victory, the Indians have been in a celebration mode as the cricketers could successfully brought the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 trophy home after a wait of 13 years. The entire social media is filled with emotional posts following the win.
Following the footsteps of the Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja too, announced his retirement from T20Is. After India’s T20 World Cup 2024 triumph, Ravindra took to his IG handle and shared a lovely photo of him holding the trophy. The photo was clicked in the dressing room, and his fans are going gaga over the same.

Ravindra also wrote a heartfelt note about his retirement after a seven-run win against South Africa at the Kensington Oval in Barbados. For the uninitiated, the spin-bowling all-rounder has come a long way since joining the team under MS Dhoni's leadership. He was an integral part of a number of T20Is, and could taste success finally in the last one as India returned with the men’s T20 World Cup trophy after 13 years. Thus, talking about his grateful journey, he penned:
“With a heart full of gratitude, I bid farewell to T20 internationals. Like a steadfast horse galloping with pride, I’ve always given my best for my country and will continue to do so in other formats . Winning the T20 World Cup was a dream come true, a pinnacle of my T20 International career. Thank you for the memories, the cheers, and the unwavering support. Jai hind. Ravindrasinh Jadeja.”
On May 29, 2023, Chennai Super Kings beat Gujarat Titans in the final of IPL 2023. And during the match, CSK’s all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja’s wife, Rivaba Jadeja had turned his biggest cheerleader. She attended the IPL final and cheered for her husband from the stands with their daughter, Nidhyana Jadeja. Some of the glimpses from the match, which went viral at that time, showcased the emotions Rivaba experienced during CSK’s win. There was also another clip in which Ravindra can be seen hugging his wife, Rivaba during the celebrations, leaving the entire internet in awe of this adorable couple.

The official Twitter handle of Chennai Super Kings also posted a lovely picture of Ravindra Jadeja with his wife, Rivaba Jadeja and their daughter, Nidhyana Jadeja. In the picture, all three of them were seen posing for the camera while holding the IPL 2023 trophy in their hands. Their happiness was clearly visible on their faces.
