One wedding that created a hurricane of anger, as well as joy in the country, was that of Pakistani cricketer, Shoaib Malik and ace tennis player, Sania Mirza. The tennis player was earlier engaged to her childhood friend but broke it off. Later, Sania Mirza had found love in Shoaib Malik and they had gotten married on April 12, 2010. The couple had embraced parenthood with the arrival of their son, Izhaan Mirza Malik on October 3, 2018.

It was in the '90s when Neena Gupta and Vivian Richards's love affair had become the talk of the entire nation. The duo had fallen in love during a party, where they had first met. Pakistan's cricketer, Hassan Ali has also married an Indian woman. The cricketer is known for his bowling skill, but he was clean bowled by Indian beauty, Samiyaa Arzoo. The duo had married each other on August 20, 2019, in Dubai. The couple had embraced parenthood with the arrival of their daughter on April 6, 2021.
Love does not see the barriers of language or religion. If it has to happen, it will and that’s what all of the above-mentioned couples beautifully prove.
