The news took fans by surprise since it had been less than a year since their romance intensified after her public divorce. Nonetheless, French Montana is leaving no stone unturned to impress his girl and reportedly spent more than a massive USD 1 million on buying an engagement ring.

The star of the show is none other than French's engagement ring for Sheikha. According to TMZ, it is designed by New York's Eric the Jeweler of Mavani & Co. The sparkler features an emerald-cut diamond weighing an impressive 11.53 carats. However, the price tag of USD 1,050,000 has made many eyes pop out. 

The massive rare-cut diamond of the ring to a big size; it is easy to say that everything about the ring screams royalty, making it perfect for the princess who often makes headlines across the globe. Although she does come from a wealthy family, French is also the highest-selling African-born artist in history. He had reportedly commissioned the piece months ago because he wanted to present his bride-to-be with nothing less than the best. Describing the ring, sources told TMZ Hip Hop:

"It's a beaut."

French Montana and Sheikha Mahra got engaged with their family on board with the union 

According to French Montana's representative, the couple's engagement took place during Paris Fashion Week in June 2025. It was shortly after he walked the runway. The rapper has already met Princess Mahra's family, who are worth billions, and they have welcomed him warmly. For those unaware, Sheikha Mahra, 30, became a household name after her high-profile split from her ex-husband, Sheikh Mana Al Maktoum. The marriage, which began in April 2023 with a lavish Dubai wedding, ended in July 2024 after Mahra publicly announced her divorce on Instagram in a now-viral post. Following the Islamic practice of 'triple talaq', she penned:
