At this time, I need to grieve in peace, surrounded by my family, and process this loss with love. Thank you for your respect and for your compassionate support during this difficult time.”

Derbez’s statement officially confirms the cause of Michel’s death, following a wave of unconfirmed reports suggesting she had suffered a domestic accident. While Aislinn didn’t provide additional medical details, she has requested privacy as she navigates this difficult time with her family.
