Gauahar Khan Slams Amaal Mallik's Statement Against Awez-Nagma On 'Bigg Boss 19', 'Sad Soch..'

Salman Khan hosted reality show, Bigg Boss 19, that started on August 24, 2025, has been generating a lot of buzz and excitement among fans. Each and every episode adds more drama. In one of the latest episodes, contestant, Amaal Mallik said that he gives business to Awez and Nagma. Recently, Gauahar Khan broke her silence regarding Amaal Mallik’s controversial statement. 

Gauahar Khan reacts on Amaal Mallik’s statement of giving business to Awez-Nagma

Gauahar Khan, who won the reality show, Bigg Boss Season 7, has always followed the reality show and has voiced her opinion on social media. Recently, Gauahar Khan shared the clip of Amaal Mallik’s statement on her Instagram stories and expressed her disappointment on the musician’s thinking. Along with the clip, she penned a small message:

"Sad soch. #Nawez do you! Love you both."

In the latest episode, Amaal Mallik was seen having a private conversation with a few of his fellow contestants like Zeishan Quadri, Nehal Chudasama and Baseer Ali. In that conversation, Amaal mentioned that Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirajkar don't take a stand in the house and are playing on both sides. In his words:

"Nehal ko main ek baat batana chahta hoon, woh jo pati patni hain Nagma aur Awez woh kisi taraf nahi hain. Woh na humko support kar rahe hain, na udhar. Woh bahut daamadol hain. Main inn logon ko bahar se jaanta hoon."

He continued to add that, outside the show, Amaal gives major business to Awez and Nagma. He shared that Awez is calling him bhai, only because he gets around 20 lakhs for reel promotions of Amaal’s songs. Despite so much business, Amaal shared that the couple will never take a stand. He explained:

"Yeh log Amaal bhai Amaal bhai karte rahenge kyunki I give them business. Mere saath gaanon ka kaam dhandha hai. Reel promotion sab dhandha milta hai unn logon ko. Rs 20-20 lakh jaate hai unke company ko gaane promotions ke liye. Par woh log kabhi stand nahi lene."

Awez Darbar’s relationship with Gauahar Khan

Awez Darbar and Gauahar Khan are more than just friends, they are a family. Jhalla Wallah actress, Gauahar Khan is married to Zaid Darbar, who is Awez's older brother, which makes her the sister-in-law of Awez. Over the years, the duo has publicly expressed their fondness and friendship for each other. Awez has been part of all the family functions of Gauahar and Zaid. Before the dancer and choreographer joined Bigg Boss 19, the actress gave him advice to 'be yourself'.

Awez Darbar was born on March 16, 1993, to the music composer, Ismail Darbar and Farzana Javed Shaikh. Awez is a popular dancer and choreographer based in Mumbai. He started by posting content on TikTok and gradually increased it to Instagram and YouTube. In 2019, he founded B You Academy, which was launched by filmmaker, Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Later, he even built Atrangz, a creative studio, along with his siblings.
