Gaurav Khanna Is The First 'Celebrity MasterChef', Lifts The Trophy And Won Rs. 25 Lakh Prize Money

Gaurav Khanna's stars are shining the brightest, and he is enjoying the happiest phase of his career. The actor has left a mark with his acting on the show, Anupamaa. Not only this, Gaurav also left a mark with his culinary skills on Celebrity MasterChef. And now, he has lifted the trophy of the cooking reality show.

Gaurav Khanna's happiness knows no bounds as he defeats Tejasswi Prakash in the finale. Pictures of Gaurav lifting the MasterChef trophy surfaced on the internet. The actor was seen wearing a chef's coat with a gold border on the neck and the sleeves. He looked extremely happy as he held the trophy in his hands and stood with Chef Sanjeev Kapoor. Also, it is worth mentioning that Gaurav not only won a trophy, but he also got a prize money of Rs. 25 lakh.

Gaurav Khanna will open a restaurant in Kanpur

As Gaurav Khanna won the Celebrity MasterChef trophy, his next step is to open a restaurant. Well, recently, his best friend, Hussain Kuwajerwala, spilt the beans on the same when he came to support him on the show. During a segment of the show, Hussain mentioned that Gaurav would open his own restaurant in Kanpur. He revealed that the restaurant will be named 'Khaana by Khanna'. Hussain also shared that Gaurav's parents had been busy with the preparation while his wife, Akasnsha Chamola, was busy taking care of the interiors. Later, he mentioned that it was a joke, but we think it could be an interesting business plan.

For the unversed, since the beginning of the show, Niki and Gaurav have never shared a good bond. Over the course of the Celebrity MasterChef, they have been involved in several disagreements and rift. In fact, things turned spicy whenever they had been teamed up together. And it seems like Nikki was upset after Gaurav allotted her 90 minutes only for the cooking task. However, to clarify his stance, Gaurav admitted that it happened because Nikki already had an immunity pin, plus he found her as a good competition.

For the unversed, Gaurav Khanna is married to Akanksha Chamola, and they tied the knot on November 24, 2016, in a grand ceremony. Their wedding took place in Gaurav's hometown, Kanpur, and lasted for three days. Since then, we have been loving all the PDAs these lovebirds share on their respective social media handles.

During an episode of Celebrity MasterChef, Gaurav Khanna shared that he met his wife, Akanksha, during an audition, and he instantly felt something. However, Akanksha had no idea about Gaurav's liking towards her. To start a conversation, Gaurav acted like he was inexperienced and asked her about how he could get roles. 

Not only this, Gaurav even told Akanksha that his name was 'Rakesh', which she thought to be old-fashioned. When Akanksha was about to leave for another audition, he offered her a ride. After dropping her off, he told Akanksha to Google about him. She smiled, and Guarav said:

"'Hasee Toh Phasee. Main phas gaya."
