Gaurav Khanna's Wife, Akanksha Talks About Shooting Intimate Scenes, '..Comfortable Ho Jaate Ho'

Gaurav Khanna's wife, Akanksha Chamola, has been in the headlines for her cryptic posts, which have left many wondering if all is not well in her relationship. Later, she dismissed the buzz. Currently, Akanskha is busy promoting her upcoming show, Dil Dhokha aur Desire. It features an ensemble starcast including Ali Hasan, Kunwar Amarjeet Singh, Kriti Garg, Mahi Khan, and more.

Akanksha Chamola opened up about shooting an intimate scene in the show

Recently, the makers shared the show's trailer, and it left many wondering how the actors performed the intimate scenes. In an interview with FilmyGyan, Akanksha threw light on how she was able to perform extremely close scenes with her co-star. She shared that censorship is extremely strict right now. So, they have followed all the guidelines. Talking about shooting the intimate scene, she revealed that everything is done in their comfort zone. She added:

"Jaahan pe aapne censorship ki baat ki hai, abhi humare jo laws hai wo bahut strict ho gaye hain. So humne wo saare censorship ke guidelines ko hi follow kiya hai. Hum humare comfort zone me hi the. Director lajawab the on floor because agar director nahi hote to hum shayad ye kuch bhi nahi kr paate. Uske ilawa jo humari supporting team thi, they made sure that... I mean.. aise scene me from a female point of view se...."

Akanksha further added that everyone on the set made sure to make her feel comfortable, including the male actor. She added that when they have to shoot the intimate scene, they have an intimacy coordinator, and they give them a workshop. Sharing the process, Akanksha said:

"Everyone on the set, sabki priority hoti hai ki ladki ko comfortable rkhna hai including the male actor. Humare floor pe jab aise scene shoot hote the we were provided with an intimacy co-ordinator. To ye saare scenes ke liye we are under a workshop training wahan pe we are made comfortable with each other. It doesn't matter aap ek dusre ko jante ho ki nahi. There is a lot of process before going into such kind of stuff. So sirf acting nhi, intimacy workshops bhi hoti hain Jahan pe hume ye sb cheez sikhayi jati hai saare inhibitions tode jaate hain, hume ek dusre ka comfort zone pta hota hai, to line bhi cross hoti hai, intimacy coordinator hoti hai wahan pe jo aapko protect krne ke liye hoti hai and ek level of trust hai."

When Gaurav and Akanksha's relationship was in headlines for the actress not choosing to have children

When Akanksha appeared in the Bigg Boss 19 house during the family week, she discussed her decision of not having children anytime soon. She talked about the pressure and labels she has faced. She stated that it is a big decision, which she needs time for, and she cannot think of having kids in the future as well. Akanksha was quoted as saying:

"I am not scared of it. Baccha paida karna halwa banana nahi hota hai. Bohot badi responsibility hai. Mujhe nahi lagta hai main wo job ko utne ache se justify kar sakti hoon - at this age, at any age. Mujhe apna career banana hai, mere ambitions hain bohot saare, ab log usko selfish bole."

It is worth mentioning that Gaurav even faced backlash inside the BB 19 house during the press event. In the press conference, a journalist asked Gaurav if he and his wife, Akanksha, intentionally discussed not having a child in the house to get public sympathy. Gaurav was taken aback by the question and clarified that he loves children. He added that when he got married, he wanted to have his kids, and it is an extremely sensitive topic for him.
