Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan are rightfully hailed as the power couple in Tinseltown. The duo, who has completed over three decades of togetherness, have set some inspirational couple goals for all to look up to. Apart from being amazing partners and soulmates to one another, they are also the biggest cheerleaders for each other’s work. Thus, while Shah Rukh never fails to root for Gauri’s achievements, so does the latter showcase her relentless support for the former. For the unversed, the couple is blessed with three children, Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan.
On the career front, Gauri Khan is a phenomenal interior designer and owner of quite a few designer labels, including D’Decor and Gauri Khan Designs. Additionally, she has collaborated with several other prestigious international designers and launched her own collections over the years. Moreover, she along with her husband, SRK is the founder of the leading film production company, Red Chillies Entertainment. Back in 2018, Gauri had designed a Mexican restaurant in Bandra, Mumbai. During the launch event of the same, the talented diva, in an interaction with the press had revealed a cute rule that she has set for her husband, Shah Rukh Khan. The diva mentioned:
“He (Shah Rukh Khan) is only allowed to visit the restaurant that I have designed.”

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan was also quipped talking about Gauri’s response and asked whether he liked to attend the launch of restaurants that were designed by his wife. In his reply, the actor jibed along hilariously and mentioned that he tags along in such events because of free food. Moreover, he even talked about the best part he liked from the restaurant. In his words:
“I only come to these openings because every restaurant she (Gauri) designs, I get free food there. So, this is very good for me because we can do our parties here. I really liked the design. I loved the openness of the place, and I loved the bathroom.”
Shah Rukh Khan is a doting husband to his wifey, Gauri and there can be no second thoughts about the same. Even after being together for more than 32 years, their love for one another continues to inspire many out there. While Gauri has played an impeccable role in the actor’s career, did you know there was a time when SRK didn’t want to work in films anymore, since his wifey didn’t like him hugging other women in the film? Well, SRK’s co-star, Viveck Vaswani recalled a particular anecdote of the actor and revealed:
“Shah Rukh Khan used to live in my house. When he returned to Mumbai after his mother died and he said 'Let's do a film', I had to say 'yes'. Until then, he preferred to work only in TV. He was against films. When I asked him the reason, he said, 'I can’t do films because I’ll have to hug girls in films. And Gauri has said no'! I told him 'Ok. You come and stay with me. We’ll figure out life'."

In an old interview on the show, Rendezvous With Simi Garewal, Shah Rukh Khan lovingly recalled the most painful phase for his wife, Gauri, while she was in labour pain and about to give birth to their first child, Aryan. The actor revealed he tried his best to be by his wife’s side all the while. Elaborating more, he said:
“I didn’t know how a woman reacts when she goes into labour. I had heard that you’re supposed to breathe with her, but she wasn’t breathing. Yeah, she was screaming very strangely, nothing like how they show in films.”
