Gauri Khan's Restaurant Has A Secret Door For Family, Says Head Chef, Reveals SRK's Favourite Dish

Gauri Khan's restaurant, Torii, is as glamorous and famous as her family. The restaurant is located in Mumbai and is a common spot for many Bollywood celebrities to hang out. Torii was also featured in an episode of Netflix's Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. But how frequently do Shah Rukh Khan and his family dine at the restaurant, and does it cause a huge crowd of fans outside? Stefan Gadit, the head chef of Torii, gave all the scoop on Torii by Gauri Khan. 

Torii's head chef said that the Khans have a secret door for their use 

The head chef of Torii, Stefan Gadit, spoke to Indian Express and said that there is a secret door for the Khans in the restaurant. Shah Rukh, Gauri and their three children often dine in the restaurant, but they use the secret door for their entry and exit. Apart from them, a few other popular celebrities also have access to this exclusive door. Stefan said about the secret door:

“Not everybody has access to the secret doorway; it’s for the Khans.”

Torii's head chef talks about the favourite dishes of Shah Rukh Khan and AbRam

Stefan Gadit revealed that the youngest of Shah Rukh Khan's three children, AbRam, really liked the restaurant's food. He often orders from Torii; meanwhile, Aryan and Suhana hang out at the restaurant with their friends. The head chef revealed that AbRam loved the sushi on their menu, while Shah Rukh Khan's usual order was the lamb chops. The superstar also mostly dines with Gauri and their family at the restaurant. 

Stefan Gadit gave inside scoops on the Khans in the restaurant 

Stefan Gadit, in the interview, said that Shah Rukh Khan had also celebrated Pooja Dadlani, his manager's wedding anniversary in the restaurant. The head chef also said that whenever the Khans couldn't come to the restaurant, they placed orders from their home. Suhana Khan and Aryan liked to come to Torii with their friends a lot. However, the head chef said that Aryan often comes late in the evening, so he is not sure about his food preferences. Stefan said about the Khans:

“They keep coming here quite often, and whenever they don’t have the time, they place an order and we have it sent over to their home. AbRam likes the sushi here, and Suhana has come on a few occasions with her friends. SRK has also been here a few times, mostly with Gauri and family. They celebrated Pooja Dadlani’s anniversary here."

Stefan Gadit talks about whether Gauri Khan is involved with the restaurant's daily operations 

Stefan Gadit said that there is a good understanding between the restaurant's management team and Gauri Khan. She also gives her opinions when she feels something is amiss. He also said that they added Thai Curry to the menu since it is her favourite dish and is dedicated to her. Stefan said that things have been going really well so far. In the interview, he stated:

“She gives us her two cents when she feels something is not right, so far things have been going well. There is a good understanding between the management and Gauri Khan.”
