Gauri Khan's Restaurant Torii's Expensive Menu, Salad Worth Rs. 1100 To Lamb Chop Worth Rs. 3800

Gauri Khan is a businesswoman who has donned many feathers on her hat. She is not just a star wife and a doting mom, but a successful entrepreneur too. She is a popular name in the interior design sector, as her revamped homes and office decor speak to her love of perfection. Apart from interior designing, Gauri is also the owner of a Mumbai-based restaurant named Torii.

And now, Gauri Khan’s restaurant Torii is making headlines for its expensive menu card. The menu at Gauri Khan’s restaurant features some of the most exotic dishes, and the prices match the restaurant’s upscale vibe. As per the report, Torii offers Summer Vegetable Sui for Rs 950, Truffle Edamame for Rs 950. It also offers a veg Gyoza selection, serving eight pieces for Rs. 1500.

Not just this, the posh restaurant’s salad range starts from Rs. 500, and a premium mix of salmon, tuna, and Hamachi, called the Sashimi Salad, comes with a price tag of Rs. 1100. The menu boasts snacks like Enoki Mushroom Tempura for Rs. 600 and Lotus Root with Singapore chilli worth Rs. 750.

Other expensive items on the menu include ‘Meat and Poultry’. While one of the popular dishes, Chicken Yakitori, costs Rs 800, Norwegian Salmon is priced at Rs 1900, and Shrimp Kushiyaki costs Rs 650. And the most expensive item on the menu is the Yakiniku NZ Lamb Chop and Miso Black Cod – costs Rs 3800 and Rs 4700, respectively.

Torii has a secret door for the Khan family

The head chef of Torii, Stefan Gadit, spoke to the Indian Express and said that there is a secret door for the Khans in the restaurant. Shah Rukh, Gauri, and their three children often dine in the restaurant, but they use the secret door for their entry and exit. Apart from them, a few other popular celebrities also have access to this exclusive door.

Stefan Gadit revealed that Shah Rukh and Gauri’s youngest child, AbRam, really likes the restaurant's food. He often orders from Torii; meanwhile, Aryan and Suhana hang out at the restaurant with their friends. The head chef revealed that AbRam loves the sushi on their menu, while Shah Rukh Khan's usual order is lamb chops. Talking about the Khans, Stefan said:

“They keep coming here quite often, and whenever they don’t have the time, they place an order and we have it sent over to their home. SRK has also been here a few times, mostly with Gauri and family. They celebrated Pooja Dadlani’s anniversary here."
