Gautam Rode Shares First Picture With His Twin Babies From Inside The Hospital Room

Pankhuri Awasthy and Gautam Rode hopped onto their parenthood journey with the arrival of their twins on July 25, 2023. Since then, the duo's life has been revolving around their baby girl and baby boy. Pankhuri had a C-section delivery, and on August 30, 2023, the family gave a grand welcome to their twins. Now, Gautam shared an unseen picture with his twins from the NICU.

There is no greater joy than holding your baby in your arms, and the fun doubles when you have twins. On August 1, 2023, Gautam took to his Instagram handle and posted an unseen picture with his twins from the NICU room. In the priceless photo, the babies were lying on the bed, and Gautam wore a hospital suit for extra precautions. Gautam didn't reveal his twins' faces and hid them with blue and pink emoji.

Pankhuri and his twins' grand welcome 

Gautam gave a surprise welcome to his wife, Pankhuri and their twin babies. Pankhuri was decked up in a pink co-ord set, and held her babies in her arms. On the other hand, Gautam was standing right beside her. We could see cutesy balloons and flower decorations. 

When Gautam Rode revealed his wife, Pankhuri Awasthy had a C-section delivery

Gautam Rode was super emotional when he saw his kids for the first time, but he was also worried for his wife, Pankhuri Awasthy. Recently, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Gautam shared that his wife underwent a C-section delivery, and would be getting discharged in four to five days. Gautam also expressed that they have not yet selected any names for the twins.

Further in the same interview, Gautam Rode recalled the scary time when Pankhuri Awasthy got false contractions when she was in her seventh month of pregnancy. The actor shared that he was worried that the babies do not arrive in the seventh month. He was quoted as saying:

"In the seventh month, she got false contractions, so that time was scary for us because we thought premature babies na hojaayen. But, she stretched it to 38 weeks, so that’s God’s blessing, and our kids are strong Our wish of having a boy and a girl has been fulfilled."
