Ram Kapoor's Wife Gautami Reveals How He Reacted When She Slammed Ekta's Dig On His Weight Loss

Ram Kapoor has left everyone stunned with his massive weight loss. Well, it was Ekta Kapoor, who took a jibe at the same indirectly through an IG post, as the actor denied taking Ozempic for his weight loss. For the unversed, the cold war between Ram and Ekta has been going on since the time the actor made a remark on the latter's show, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. Following Ekta's jibe, Ram's wife, Gautami Kapoor also took a funny dig at the former by mimicking her. Now, Gautami revealed if she did this out of revenge and how Ram reacted to her post.

Gautami Kapoor reveals Ram Kapoor's reaction to her sly dig at Ekta Kapoor's comment on his weight loss

On Vickey Lalwani's podcast, Gautami Kapoor was asked about her IG post, which was said to be a dig at Ekta Kapoor's jibe at Ram Kapoor's weight loss. Talking about this, Gautami revealed Ram Kapoor's reaction to this. She said that her husband was not at home when she dropped the video, and when he came back, he was inundated with a lot of messages. Gautami mentioned that her husband told her that although it's good for her, she should not drag him into this. She stated that there was nothing to the video she shared and that her husband shouldn't be dragged into this. Sharing that people are glorifying this a lot, Gautami said:

"Fortunately, for his sake, he was not here. When he came back, he was inundated with thousands of messages from all over the world. Then he saw it obviously, and he was like, 'Good for you. Don't drag me in the middle of this because this is between you, Ektaa and social media. Don't drag me into this'. There is no need to drag him into this. There is nothing to it. Log usse bohot zyada glorify kar rahe."

Gautami Kapoor reveals her intention behind making the video while mimicking Ekta Kapoor

Gautami, in the same conversation, revealed that when she dropped the clip, she thought people would have a laugh while looking at it, not that she wanted people to think that there's any cold war or rivalry going on. She clarified that there's nothing like that and people need to chill. She shared that her intention to make the video was to provide fun so that people would look at it for 30 seconds and then move on but people are stuck to it thinking some fallout must have been going on. She further added that people are taking this more seriously than her and Ekta. In Gautami's words:

"Logon ke beech mein ab ye debate chal rahi hai. I have done it so that when people see it, people laugh at it. Not to say that ‘Are they having some rivalry? Is there a fallout?' There’s nothing like that. Everyone needs to chill. It’s not about rivalry all the time. It's also about fun. It's a 30-second video; look at it, laugh at it and move on! People are taking it more seriously than me and Ektaa, I think."

Earlier, taking to her IG handle, Gautami Kapoor dropped a video wherein she was seen using a similar tone that Ekta Kapoor used while taking a dig at Ram Kapoor's weight loss after he denied taking Ozempic for his weight loss. Gautami, in the video, mimicked Ekta and asked whether she should opt for an anti-inflammatory diet or take Mounjaro and Ozempic, or she just should zip her mouth. She also took a dig at the show, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, and said:

"Kyunki humein bade nahi, chhote hi achhe lagte hain."
