The year 2020 has ruined all our plans, dreams and postponed many important events. The pandemic has created a scare in the people across the world. Millions of people are staying at home to stay away and to break the chain of novel coronavirus from spreading. Amidst it, there are many, who are trying to turn this 'global crisis' into a 'once-in-a-lifetime opportunity' of spending time with the ones they love. The quarantine period is proving to strengthen family bonds and creating a better understanding in the families. A perfect example of it is Punjabi actor and singer, Gippy Grewal, who is enjoying every minute of the lockdown with his gorgeous wife, Ravneet Kaur and their boys.

Before we take you further into the story, let us take a look at Gippy's remarkable journey in films. It is said that nothing comes easy, and our favourite actor, Gippy also had his share of struggles. He is a hotel-management graduate and had started off his journey as a room service boy in hotels. He had struggled a lot in making his career in the field of singing and his wife, Ravneet became a strong support system for him.
It is said that behind every successful man, is a woman! This stands true in the case of Gippy Grewal and Ravneet Kaur. The latter stood like a pillar of strength in his life. In a media interaction, the actor had shared that it was his wife, Ravneet, who had inspired him to make his directorial debut with Ardaas in 2016. He had also revealed that his inspiration behind cinema is his wife, and had shared ‘Je Meri Wife Mainu Ardaas Banan Layi Na Kehndi Ta Mai Kadi Ardaas Na Bananda’. The duo are proud parents of three kids, Ekomkar Grewal, Gurfateh Grewal and Gurbaaz Grewal.
Gippy shares a loving bond with his kids and he makes sure that they learn about their religion and stay grounded to their roots. In a world that makes sure to give their kids a unique name, Gippy had chosen religious names for his three dashing boys, Ekomkar, Gurfateh, Gurbaaz. In an interview with Daah Film, the actor had opened up on the same and had shared, "Kids usually cut their names short so I really want them to give good names so that they cannot short those names in future". Well, Gippy is definitely a cool father!

Apart from being an extraordinary actor, singer and director, Gippy is also a loving father. Amidst the lockdown, he is making sure to give his undivided attention to his boys. From enjoying ice-cream with his boys to playing '90s game, Pithhu, Gippy is keeping them entertained while staying at home. We had even spotted him twinning in matching nightsuits with his boy squad.
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Gippy had shared that he would have been stuck in India alone. He had said, "Me and my family had come to India much before the lockdown was announced, and they had planned to actually leave for Canada again after a few days. Talks had started about coronavirus then, but lockdown hadn’t happened. I asked them to stay back for more days, and then it took place. If they would have gone, I would have been stuck here in Chandigarh without them."
In December 2019, Gippy and Ravneet had welcomed their third child into their world. In May 2020, the baby had turned six-months old and the family had made sure to turn it into a memorable event. They had organised a cute bash for him, and the actor had shared the pictures of the same on his IG handle. He had captioned it as "Today my little one turned 6 Months nothing could be more memorable than sharing this wonderful day with you all."
