Lee Dong Wook relates a lot with his character ‘Park Yeong Ho’ from his upcoming movie, Single In Seoul, as he has a long list of reasons why he does not want to fall in love. While people always wish to find their ‘one’ in life, the actor stated quite a few reasons why he is better off being a single man. He revealed:
“Everything about it. I am not controlled by anyone. My schedule is very unorthodox; I eat lunch at three and dinner at nine. If I had to eat with someone, it would be uncomfortable for both of us. These things make it more comfortable for me to be single.”

“When dating, I think it’s important for humour codes to match well. Looking back, I was happiest when I was dating people with whom I could communicate well.”
According to Kbizoom, Lee Dong Wook even had hearty laughter regarding his old and dying ‘dating cells’ due to his prolonged single life. He also revealed that shooting Single in Seoul felt like rehabilitation. Dong Wook further explained that dating is not a ‘priority’ in his life right now, but rather working hard and enjoying life is. When asked about his wedding plans, the actor said:
"I do have thoughts about wanting to get married, but I don’t think I’m mature enough to establish a family yet. Even so, I can’t register with marriage information agencies or actively go on blind dates. My life is predictable, so that’s probably why I’m in this situation right now.”
