Govinda And Sunita Divorce, Actor's Niece, Arti Singh Pens Cryptic Post Amid Rumours, '..Move On'

The Bollywood film industry during the '90s was synonymous with the name of Govinda. Though the star's shine might have faded a little, Govinda has become the talk of the town again. However, this time it's not for his acting or films. The star has made headlines after it was reported that his wife, Sunita Ahuja, has filed for a divorce after more than three decades of marriage. Amid these speculations, Govinda's niece, Arti Singh, has made a cryptic post talking about self-love and moving on. 

Govinda's niece, Arti Singh, posts a cryptic Story on Instagram amid his separation rumours with Sunita Ahuja

Gossip mills have been running after a Hauterfly report claimed that Sunita Ahuja filed for divorce from Govinda back in 2024 in the Bandra High Court. Amid this report, the actor's niece, Arti Singh, recently took to her Instagram and shared a Story on moving that has raised a lot of eyebrows. The actress posted a video of herself in an autorickshaw. Arti also added the song, 'Bas ek Dhadak' from Dhadak 2 and penned down the significance of self-love. She stated in the Story:

“Sach main duniya main dhadak ka saath chahiye… kyuki voh band hui toh AAP nahi rahoge. So, love yourself. Yes, you get hurt but move on."

People speculate that this story of Govinda's niece, Arti, was directed towards her aunt, Sunita Ahuja. For the unversed, Sunita has cited adultery, cruelty, and desertion under the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, as the reason for divorce, reported Hauterfly. Interestingly, back in February 2025, when separation rumours were rife again between Govinda and Sunita, Arti had reacted at the time and stated the speculations as baseless in an interview with News18. However, the actress has yet to address the new reports directly. Back then, Arti had shared:

“…Let me tell you something, this is false news. These are just speculations because their bond is so strong. They have built a strong and loving relationship over the years, so how can they get divorced? I don’t know where people get all such rumours from, completely untrue. People should refrain from spreading misinformation about their personal lives. In fact, news about my divorce had also broken out for no reason. Such baseless gossip only creates unnecessary stress."

As per reports, the actress shares a strong bond with her uncle, despite the past rift between Krushna and his wife, Kashmera's with Govinda. However, during Arti's wedding in April 2024, Sunita and her children's absence was noted by people. However, Govinda attended the wedding and blessed his niece for starting a new chapter in her life. As of now, Govinda and Krushna have also ended their 7-year-long feud.
