Govinda Moved To Hospital Room From ER, But Where Is His Wife, Sunita Ahuja? Lalit Says, 'No Word..'

Govinda gave his fans a massive scare this morning. The day began with reports that the Dostana actor had been admitted to the hospital. However, now they can finally take a deep breath and relax, because the actor is doing better and his friend, Lalit Bindal, has shared an update on everything the fans have been curious about.

Lalit Bindal shares an update on Govinda's health

It was in the early hours of November 12, 2025, when the news went rife that Govinda was rushed to the hospital after a fainting spell. The news came 24 hours after the actor was seen visiting Dharmendra in the hospital. However, his close friend and legal advisor, Lalit Bindal, has now shared an update on Govinda's condition and explained why his wife, Sunita Ahuja, wasn't present with him at that time.

Govinda was rushed to CritiCare Asia Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai around 1:30 a.m. after he fainted at his residence. It was Lalit Bindal who took the actor to the hospital after a worried call from the actor. He revealed that Govinda had been feeling weak and uneasy since the morning of November 11, 2025. However, he began to feel disoriented around 8 p.m., Lalit told Hindustan Times. 

Lalit Bindal revealed that the actor took the medicine at around 8:30-9:00 p.m., and then went to rest in his room. However, he started feeling uneasy, weak, disoriented and suffocated around midnight, which is when he called his friend, Lalit. For the unversed, Lalit has been with Govinda for a long time, and he is also the actor's legal advisor. He was quoted as saying:

"Kal din mein unko weakness thi, and then achanak se shaam ko disorientation laga tha for a few seconds. Unconscious hue the… Uske baad unke family doctor ne unko phone pe ek dawai batai which he took. Then, achanak se (suddenly), he again felt uneasy, disoriented, weak and felt suffocated around 12 in the night. I reached his home at 12:15 and, after the advice from his doctor, took him to the hospital. We took him to the emergency ward, where his vitals were checked and he was admitted."

Lalit Bindal further shared that Govinda was now doing better and had been shifted to a room from the emergency ward. The legal advisor also revealed that all the tests have been done. However, they have to wait for the results. The actor is still under constant observation, and they don't know when Govinda will be discharged. Lalit was quoted as saying:

"Several tests have been done. Now, all his reports are awaited. He is under constant observation. Govinda is resting at the moment. There is no word on discharge yet as the doctors are waiting for the reports' result to come and then will decide a further course of action. I spoke to Govinda in the morning, and he told me that he is feeling better."

Lalit Bindal reveals why Sunita Ahuja was not with Govinda

In the same conversation, Lalit Bindal also revealed why Sunita Ahuja was not with her husband, Govinda. For the unversed, it was Lalit who accompanied Govinda to the hospital, not his family, which initially raised eyebrows. Clarifying about the situation, Lalit shared that Sunita and their daughter, Tina, were out of town at the time but have since rushed back to be by his side. He was quoted as saying:

"Sunita was not in town and had gone for a wedding. She came to Mumbai late at night, and is coming to the hospital now. Meanwhile, his daughter Tina was in Chandigarh for some work. She is also on her way back, and will be with Goivinda by the evening."
