Govinda's Wife, Sunita Accused Him For Taking Nephew Krushna's Side, 'When They Say, Its Fine...'

Govinda and his wife, Sunita, have been leading the headlines after rumours of their divorce surfaced on the internet. It was speculated that Govinda and Sunita are in the last phase of their divorce proceedings and will part ways soon. The reason behind the same has been speculated as their compatibility issues.

This is not the first time that the couple is leading the spotlight as in the past, Govinda’s feud with his nephew and actor, Krushna Abhishek was the talk of the town. It all started in 2018 when Kashmera tweeted about people dancing for money. This controversial remark did not sit well with Sunita, as she thought it was aimed at her husband, Govinda.

Govinda’s wife, Sunita, accused his nephew, Krushna Abhishek, of spreading lies

Things between the family soon turned ugly, and Govinda and Sunita cut ties with Krushna and Kashmera. However, the 8-year-long family feud was buried when Govinda attended Arti Singh's wedding. And now, we got our hands on the video where Sunita accused Krushna and his sister, Arti of spreading lies about Govinda.

In a throwback video, Sunita revealed that Krushna and Arti stated in an interview that Govinda mama did not help them financially. Though Govinda looked a bit uncomfortable with Sunita’s blunt words in front of the camera, he somehow managed the situation by stating that his mother, Nirmala Devi, was the one who made decisions related to finances. To which Sunita said:

“Bola tha Manish ke show pe humko sirf chi chi maama ne 2000 rupay diye the, kuch help nahi kiya. When they say, its fine with you, that is not right. When they don’t care about talking in media and all, then I don’t know why you are so much bothered.”

Govinda clarified Sunita’s accusations

As soon as Sunita finished talking, Govinda stated, without taking anyone’s side, that the decision maker in every matter was his late mother. In his words:

“Us samay, mera aesa sochna hai, sab ka mummy tay karti thi in sabhi ka aur in logon ke paas me kya kaha gaya hai, aur chote the, toh kya stories inke dikhayi gayi hai, kya kahaniyan tay ki gayi hai. Hota kya hai aap jis waqt bahut khayal kar rahe hote hain, to aapki achhai kidnap kar li jaai hai. Ki inhone kuch nahi kiya.”

When Govinda revealed the real reason behind his feud with Krushna Abhishek

Govinda and his wife, Sunita, were miffed with Krushna Abhishek and his wife, Kashmera, for numerous reasons. In a podcast, he revealed the real reason why he was angry with the couple. Talking about the same in a podcast, Govinda stated that when Krushna and Kashmera's twins were born, he and his wife, Sunita, visited the hospital to meet the kids but were not allowed to enter as instructed by their parents. At that time, Govinda thought that it may have been due to an infection scare.

But, after that day, he tried to meet the babies four times but was not allowed to do so. This incident hurt him beyond repair, and to add more misery, Krushna Abhishek went on numerous interviews and alleged Govinda had not visited his kids, which was a complete lie. When Govinda accidentally shot himself in 2024, Krushna and Kashmera were the first ones to be by the actor’s side. After this incident, the family let bygones be bygones and reunited.
