Govinda's wife, Sunita Ahuja, had a long-running feud with Krushna Abhishek and his wife, Kashmera Shah. It also strained her relations with Govinda's niece, Arti Singh. Fans have been curious about the dynamics of Govinda and Sunita's relationship with Arti and Krushna, whom they once considered family. The feud between the concerned parties stemmed from misunderstandings and lasted for many years. Recently, Sunita hinted at sorting out issues and mending relations in her latest podcast interview. She even called Arti and Krushna her children and shared sweet words with them.
Sunita Ahuja opened up about her long-standing feud with Krushna Abhishek and Arti Singh, saying it was all in the past and she wasn't holding onto the ill feeling. She stated that she loves Krushna Abhishek and Arti Singh a lot and considers them her own children during her chat with Paras Chhabra. Sunita emphasised that she practically 'raised' Krushna and felt the same motherly affection towards Arti, even though the TV star did not grow up around Sunita. Sunita clarified that she never stood between Govinda and Krushna, and never stopped them from meeting, despite past family feuds. She said:
"Krushna grew up with me, along with Vinay, Dumpy, and my brother-in-law's son. For me, they are all my children. I've forgotten everything from the past. Now I just want all the children to laugh, play, and be happy. I bless everyone."

Govinda's wife clarified that while there were issues that led to her distancing herself from the couple for a period, she has no current grudges, mainly as she's grown older. Talking about her current dynamics with both Krushna and Arti, Sunita mentioned that she was on amicable terms with both. Sunita has had enough of the family drama and wants both of them, whom she considers her children, to be happy and well in life. Sunita told host, Paras:
"I don't have any ill feelings towards any of my children right now. Both of them, Arti and Krushna, are my children. I love them both. Enough is enough. Now is not the time for all this fighting and quarrelling. Both of them are my children."

Sunita Ahuja shared that she still talks to Arti and that Arti visited their home to tie rakhi to Sunita's son, Yash, indicating a thawing in their personal relationship. She mentioned that she hadn't raised Arti yet, yet felt a deep connection with her. Sunita even joked that she wanted to raise Arti as well, but her mother-in-law told her it would mean more children and more responsibilities, so she handed Arti over to her sister-in-law, Geeta.
"I didn't raise Aarti. When she was born, I told my mother-in-law that I should raise her, but she said, 'You'll have more children.' So, I gave her to Geeta Bhabhi."

Sunita Ahuja's recent statements follow the reconciliation between Govinda and Krushna Abhishek, who ended their seven-year-long public fallout. The controversy began primarily in 2018, when Krushna's wife, Kashmera Shah, posted a tweet that Sunita Ahuja perceived as a dig at Govinda. The tweet included the line "people who dance for money", which Sunita deemed offensive. As a result, she severed all ties with Krushna's family. Furthermore, a joke Krushna made about Govinda on a comedy show was also a factor in the controversy. This feud between the two families also affected Arti Singh's relationship with Sunita.
