Janhvi Kapoor, who left us speechless with her fantastic looks in Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding, is preparing for the release of her film, Ulajh. The actress is giving back-to-back interviews to promote her movie, which will be released on August 2, 2024. The film has a multi-starrer cast, including Gulshan Devaiah, Rajesh Tailang, and Roshan Mathew. Recently, the team sat down for an interview with Film Companion, where Gulshan Devaiah made a surprising remark on his bond with Janhvi Kapoor.
Gulshan Devaiah said that he didn't 'vibe' with Janhvi Kapoor. He explained his statement and said he didn't sit down and chat with Janhvi like people usually think about co-stars. The actor added that he felt a lack of connection between them because they had no common ground to talk about or activities to do together. But, that didn't make any difference to their work. Gulshan was quoted as saying:

"We don't really vibe that way. It's not like we are sitting and chatting. We don't vibe at all actually. Early on, it was like, 'Bro, you are not vibing.

When Gulshan commented about vibing with Janhvi, his statement immediately amused the actress. She replied to his statement, saying that it was the funniest thing he said. Later, she revealed that someone suggested she go for a coffee with Gulshan. The Mili actress added that the person gave this suggestion because she felt Gulshan was intimidated by her. However, Gulshan was quick to refute the claim. In her words:
"I got a call once on set saying, 'I feel you and Gulshan should go for coffee together. Because between takes you aren't cracking jokes.' And she was like, 'Maybe you should laugh at his jokes because otherwise he might be feeling a little intimidated."
Despite not developing a great friendship, Gulshan did not step back from complimenting Janhvi. He said Janhvi did her work professionally, and their equation never left anything 'lacking' in their performance. He said:
"We were trying to achieve whatever the director wanted and that was coming together! Because she is a professional actor, doing her job."
