Popular television couple, Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary, took the internet by storm when they announced their second pregnancy four months after welcoming their first child. The duo is all set to welcome their second child, and their happiness knows no bounds. Now, in an interview, Gurmeet opened up about Debina's second pregnancy and shared his first reaction to the same.
Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary were blessed with a daughter, Lianna on April 3, 2022, after more than a decade of marital bliss. Lianna brought a lot of happiness and joy into the couple's lives, and she became the apple of everyone's eyes. Ever since Gurmeet and Debina welcomed their baby girl, their lives have been revolving around her.

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Gurmeet Choudhary opened up about his reaction to his wife, Debina's second pregnancy and shared that it was an unreal moment for him. He mentioned that they had to undergo a lot of struggles to welcome their first child, Lianna, into this world and added that he always believed that Lianna should have a partner to play with. Talking about the same, he said:
“Reaction toh unreal tha. Kyunki hum log aise tayar nahi the. Kyunki Lianna ko yaha tak aane ke liye, kafi emotions ke saath hum gaye hain. It was not easy ki humne socha aur Debina ne conceive kar liya. Toh proper teen char saal ka time laga. Kehte hain na ki bhagwan deta hain toh chappar phadh ke hi deta hain. Mai humesha se believe karta hoon ke hum do humare do hone chahiye. Lianna ko bhi ek uska partner milna chahiye. Bachpan mai woh kisike ke saath khel sake, baat kar sake, hum toh hain hi dost ki tarah."
Gurmeet further added that when his wife, Debina told him about her second pregnancy, he thought she was joking around. However, he stated that it's one of the biggest happiness for them and mentioned that they are excited than ever to welcome their second child. In his words:
“Toh ye humare liye alag surprise tha and jab Debina ne bataya pehle toh mujhe laga ki woh mazak kar rahi hai. Woh ek bohot hi badi khushi thi. Lianna ke liye jaise hum itne khush the, iske baad hum zyada khush hain."

Gurmeet also talked about his wife, Debina Bonnerjee's struggle to get pregnant and revealed that they had to try IVF. He mentioned that he and Debina love kids, but their pregnancy journey was a difficult one. The doting daddy shared that ever since they have welcomed Lianna, their lives have changed completely. He concluded:
“Hum log kafi time se plan kar rahe the kyunki hum duno ko bacche bohot pasand hai. Mujhe toh khaskar bohot zyada pasand hai. Hum log humesha chahte the ki bacche hone chahiye. Hume kafi pasand hain. Lekin kafi time laga kyunki aasan nahi tha Lianna tak pohochne ke liye. Jab ayi toh life puri badal gayi. Woh life ka aisa turning point hai jaha pe kaha mujhme ek therav aa gaya hai.”
For the unversed, Debina and Gurmeet tied the knot on February 15, 2011.
