Whether it's sharing their videos, making jokes, replying to inappropriate comments, or even the choices they make in their personal life, everything comes under scanner. In these situations, support from influential figures in the industry is significant, and Apoorva Mukhija, who has undergone a difficult phase in her life, got that support from Pakistani actress, Hania Aamir. The latter, who has established her identity through her work in the Indian subcontinent, recently reacted to the hate received by Apoorva Mukhija.

Apoorva Mukhija, aka 'The Rebel Kid' rose to fame with her rants and challenging perspective towards societal stereotypes received mixed review over time. But, in February, 2025, the content creator got embroiled in a controversy when she and her co-judges made some controversial remarks on India's Got Latent. It didn't sit well with audiences nationwide, and legal cases were filed. The matter escalated when Apoorva began to receive acid attacks and rape threats. After staying quiet over it for long, she made a collage of it and shared it online. It surprised everyone, and now, Hania Aamir has shared her views.

Hania Aamir re-shared a video by renowned fashion commentator, Sufi Motiwala, who shared a special video calling out the hundreds of rape threats and acid attack threats received by Apoorva in the last few weeks. Sufi is otherwise known to share controversial comments on celebrity fashion. He mentioned that no woman deserves those disturbing threats. Hania also expressed her views on the issue In her Instagram stories and wrote:

"A separate place in hell."

In her new YouTube video, Apoorva talked about her journey to fame, difficult parts of her life, India's Got Latent controversy, and how she dealt with it. The content creator shared that she has faced difficult challenges in life, including living in a home that didn't feel like home, being hit by the person she loved, and being shamed by her relatives. Yet, she thought it would end, but the controversy at Samay Raina's show proved otherwise. The diva shared what happened behind the scenes and apologised for the remark with a promise never to repeat it. Sharing a shocking insight on how things went bad for her, Apoorva said:

"I start reading my DMs. They are all very graphic, of how people would like to rape me, throw acid on me and stuff like that. There is this one particular dm jisme us bande ne likha hua hain ki. I know you live in this building, and I am going to do this-this-this. I felt so scared because the one thing that I love about Bombay is its security."
