Hansika Motwani's brother, Prashant Motwani's life, came into the media limelight after his wife, Muskan Nancy James, skipped attending the lavish wedding of the South Indian superstar. After almost three years, Muskan Nancy James filed an FIR against her husband, Prashant Motwani, Hansika Motwani and her mother-in-law.
Muskan hails from Darjeeling and started living in Delhi. Her journey into television started as a child artist. Muskan Nancy James rose to stardom with the TV series Mata Ki Chowki. She was also seen in shows like Thodi Khushi Thode Gham, Adaalat, Crime Patrol, Bharat Ka Veer Putra — Maharana Pratap, Agent Raghav — Crime Branch and more.
Not only this, Muskan is fluent in Hindi, Punjabi, English, Nepali and BEngali. Apart from being a famous actress, Nancy has also left a mark in the advertising as she has worked with famous brands like CNC Priyagold Biscuit, Parachute Hair Oil, Livon, Surf Excel, Samsung, Amul Kool and more.
Muskan filed an FIR against her husband, Prashant and his family in Amboli Police Station, Mumbai on December 18, 2024, under sections 498-A, 323, 504,506, and 32vof the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Muskan mentioned her FIR that due to domestic violence, she had developed Bell's Palsy. This condition causes temporary weakness or paralysis of the muscles on one side of the face.
Muskan Nancy claimed that her mother-in-law, Jyoti Motwani and her sister-in-law, Hansika Motwani, interfered in her marital life and even demanded expensive gifts and money from her. While all this came as a shock, not many know that Muskan Nancy James was once a famous television actress. In an interview with ETimes, Muskan clarified that she had filed an FIR against Prashant nad his family and is seeking legal assistance in the matter. She said:
"An FIR has been registered against Prashant, Hansika and Jyoti Motwani. I have sought legal assistance now. At this point, I am not at liberty to comment further."

However, rumours of the couple's separation made rounds after a Reddit user highlighted this point in a post on the website. Muskanhad not even attended Hansika Motwani's wedding festivities.
