We all get excited when there happens to be a celeb wedding, and the joy is in the seventh heaven when the celeb couple is a B-town celebrity. However, the glamour of Bollywood is not the only religion for netizens in India. Cricket and films are two of the biggest religions in India, and someone from the cricket fraternity is soon to get tied in the nuptial knot with his lady-love. Still guessing who? Well, we’re talking about Indian cricket team’s ace all-rounder Hardik Pandya’s brother, Krunal Pandya. For those of you who do not know, Krunal is also a cricketer who plays for Mumbai Indians in the IPL and represents Indian ‘A’ which recently played a tri-series in South Africa.

Coming back to Krunal’s girlfriend and wifey-to-be, he is all set to marry his longtime girlfriend Pankhuri Sharma. As per reports, they will get married on December 27, 2017, at a five-star hotel in Mumbai. In fact, the couple posted their pre-wedding pics on their Instagram handles themselves. In an interview to the Times of India, Krunal was quoted as saying, “We will marry in a ceremony attended by family members and close relatives. On the same evening, a reception will be organized. I am very happy that I am marrying a girl who is more like a friend and understands me.”
Describing how their love evolved, Krunal said, “She is a friend of my friend. We met at a common gathering two years ago and developed a liking for each other. We both are of same age and get along a lot. What I like about her is her simplicity and supportive nature.”
And this is the most special way and moment in which Krunal proposed Pankhuri, according to a leading daily, "Well, I proposed her for marriage after our team Mumbai Indians became champions in the IPL this year. I was awarded man of the match in the finals and I thought it was the right time.”
He further revealed, "Pankhuri immediately said yes. My family too is very happy. I believe that if you find the right partner then the relationship is the best part of your life. I found the right girl.”
Speaking about their understanding, he was quoted as saying, “Cricket has and always remain my top priority. She (Pankhuri) understands that cricket is my life and supports me. She doesn't watch the games, except those that I play in.”
