Indian cricketer, Hardik Pandya has been making the headlines quite a lot in the last few months. Firstly, he received much backlash when he was made the captain of Mumbai Indians in the recently concluded IPL 2024. After the tournament was over, Hardik’s married life gained significant attention in the media when his wife, Natasa Stankovic removed the surname ‘Pandya’ from her Instagram handle. All hell broke loose when several media reports claimed that the cricketer’s wife would get 70 percent of his wealth after parting ways.
However, after a lot of blame games and public backlash, Hardik has finally spoken about his family after keeping his silence on the matter for the longest time. On June 12, 2024, ICC shared a video titled “A Day in Ricky Ponting’s Life” on its YouTube channel, in which the former Australian cricketer was seen interacting with several Indian cricketers ahead of the India vs. Pakistan match.

When Ricky Ponting entered the field, Hardik and other Indian players greeted him and started talking to him. That’s when Hardik asked the former Australian captain, “Ricky! How's everything? How's family?” Answering his question, Ricky said, “They're good mate. Very good!” and then inquired, “How about yours?” Hardik said:
“All good. All sweet.”

Natasa shared a post on June 13, 2024, on her Instagram stories. She reposted a quote by the popular American actor, Denzel Washington, which can be read as:
“With so many things coming back in style, I can’t wait until moral, respect, and intelligence become a trend again.”
