Hardik Pandya is currently the favourite boy of controversies. Ever since the 30-year-old took over Mumbai Indian’s captaincy, the nation has been miffed with him for taking over the place of their favourite cricketer, Rohit Sharma. Now, with every match, a series of fresh squabble arises and every time, Hardik Pandya is at the centre of it all. In the same match, MI alums, Lasith Malinga and Kieron Pollard were sitting and discussing about the game when a padded Hardik came and stood beside them. Out of generosity, Pollard first offered his chair to Hardik, but then Malinga stood and gave his chair to Hardik to sit. The tired all-rounder sat, and this evoked widespread mockery of him for not respecting his seniors.

Before embarking on his journey as a captain, Hardik Pandaya revealed in a press conference that Rohit Sharma has guided him since the beginning of his career. He added that even now, he knows that Rohit will always support him, which is why it will not at all be awkward to captain the team. Hardik even shared that he wants to carry forward Rohit Sharma’s legacy as he is the one who built the MI franchise.
We are appalled by the amount of hatred Hardik Pandya is receiving. What do you think?
