Indian cricketer, Hardik Pandya recently ended his four-year marriage with Natasa Stankovic. The duo is blessed with a son, Agastya, who is currently staying with his mother. Hardik has had a difficult phase in his professional life as well. He had previously replaced Rohit Sharma as the captain of the Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2024, but he was mocked for his apparent inability to guide his team. If the recent reports are to be believed, while Suryakumar Yadav was appointed as the captain of the Indian cricket team in July 2024, Hardik Pandya still has a chance to become the T20I captain. The reports already claimed that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) wants Hardik Pandya to focus on white-ball cricket, which makes his path to captaincy even clearer.

Recently, a well-known broadcaster, Harsha Bhogle, confirmed the news that the BCCI is keeping Hardik Pandya's captaincy door open and claimed that the Indian all-rounder could be appointed as the T20I captain. He further revealed that Pandya has been asked to prove his fitness in ODIs and T20 cricket, and if he remains fit, he would be made the Team India captain again. Harsha said:
“Hardik Pandya has been asked to play all white ball games. The captaincy door is open for him; they are just testing Suryakumar Yadav. Hardik has to stay fit and play all white ball games in order to get back.”
Meanwhile, on the personal front, Hardik Pandya ignited his dating rumours with British singer, Jasmin Walia, a month after his separation from Natasa Stankovic. The speculation began when eagle-eyed netizens noticed that Hardik and Jasmin follow each other on Instagram. Fans also discovered that the duo might be vacationing together in Greece, and their identical photos seemingly confirmed it. However, Hardik and Jasmin are yet to react to the ongoing buzz around their dating life.

On July 18, 2024, Natasa Stankovic posted a picture note on her IG handle and announced her separation from Hardik Pandya. She shared that she and Hardik had decided to mutually part ways after four years of being together and that they tried their best to save the relationship. Natasa also added that they would continue to co-parent their son, Agastya. An excerpt from her note could be read as:
"After four years of being together Hardik and I have decided to mutually part ways. We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest for the both of us. We are blessed with Agastya, who will continue to be part of both our lives and we will co-parent to ensure that we give him everything that we can for his happiness."
