Haryana Man Takes His Own Life, Leaves A Video Message, Was Being Tortured By His Wife And Her Lover

A man in Haryana named Magan took his own life after allegedly being harassed by his wife, Divya and her alleged lover, Deepak. According to the police reports, the victim, who was identified as Magan alias Ajay, had left a video recording stating what pushed him to take the drastic step. Reportedly, Magan had received a video just before ending his life, which has now surfaced online. The clip showed Divya dancing while her boyfriend recorded the footage.

Magan commits suicide after he was relentlessly tortured by his wife, Divya and her lover, Deepak

Magan was stuck on an extremely difficult turn in his life; he was emotionally and mentally drained by what his wife, Divya, had put him through. The video shared by Divya and her lover, Deepak, turned out to be the last straw for the victim. According to Magan's family, Divya sent the video to her husband. The emotional trauma that followed reportedly led Magan to hang himself last week. However, before dying, Magan recorded a video in which he accused Divya and Deepak of his murder.

In the video, Magan was seen recording himself, accusing Divya and Deepak of mentally harassing him. However, what was worse was that he could not go to the police for help as Deepak himself was a police officer. According to Magan's final message, Divya was pressuring him to murder his father and sell ancestral land so that Deepak could get a promotion in his police job. Unfortunately, Magan was left with no option since taking his father's life was not an option for him.

Magan's body was found hanging from a tree on the night of June 18, 2025, in Dobh village, Haryana. The police had begun the search after seeing the suicide video on social media. Unfortunately, by the time they found him, it was too late. In the video, Magan could clearly be seen accusing Deepak and Divya as he stated:

"Divya has an affair with Deepak, a policeman posted in Sambhajinagar (formerly Aurangabad), Maharashtra. Both of them have mentally tortured me. They want to buy a flat in Mumbai using that money. But I can't kill my father, so I am ending my life. After selling wheat, I gave Rs. 1.5 lakh to Divya. On June 9, 2025, I mortgaged my gold bracelet and gave her another Rs. 2 lakh. The transaction records are in a file kept at home. Even after paying Rs. 3.5 lakh, they were demanding another Rs. 1.5 lakh from me."

Divya was not legally divorced when she married Magan

In the video, Magan also revealed that Divya was not legally divorced from her first husband when she married him. He added that he found out after 1.5 years of their marriage that she was not legally divorced, so after consulting with his lawyer, he gave her money to settle with her first husband.

Magan addressed the torture faced by men 

In his last video, Magan addressed his rakhi sister, Savita Arya from Panipat. He revealed that she works for women's rights. He urged her to also fight for men, as sometimes even men can be the victim. He added how, even if a woman is wrong, she can get away by shedding a few tears, while the man ends up losing his life. 

Magan's family claimed that their son met Divya in 2019 on social media. They added that she left home on March 20, 2025, saying she was going for work but never returned. The police even visited Divya's parental home, but found out they had not been in touch for years. In his video, Magan also appealed to Rohtak MP Deepender Hooda and Meham MLA Balram Dangi. He was quoted as saying:

"After my death, my son should stay with my parents. They are losing their only son. I urge the MP and MLA to visit my home and assure my parents that no one will take my son away from them."
