Haryana Woman Tortures Her Mother-In-Law: Slapped, Pulled Hair, And Bitten In A Traumatising Video

"Woman torturing her mother-in-law" is the keyword almost every netizen is searching on the internet at the moment. From news headlines to social media posts, the news of a Haryana woman allegedly beating her mother-in-law is trending on different social media handles. The traumatising video has left almost everyone shaken to the core of their hearts. In the video, two women can be spotted sitting on a bed. While the young woman in a T-shirt and pyjama was sitting on the right, an older woman was spotted pledging to the former while placing her back on the wall.

The older woman was pledging forgiveness in the video from the young woman, who is reportedly her mother-in-law, as per the early speculations. As the video progressed, the young woman in a T-shirt bites the victim and thrashes her on the bed by her hair. Further, in the video, she can be spotted slapping the older lady while she is crying and begging continuously for some mercy. Not only this, she also abused the old lady and kicked her when the latter was getting off the bed. The traumatising video has shaken the internet. 

Several influencers and mega meme pages have shared the video, and it has opened a much-needed discussion on Indian laws. For instance, Peepoye Network's founder, Akassh Ashok Gupta, shared the video on his X handle (formerly Twitter) and tagged Haryana Police, NCW (National Commission for Women) and DGP Haryana Police to look into the matter and provide justice to the victim. However, along with the video, Akaash penned a note in which he shared how there's a sudden surge in cases where elderly mothers are getting tortured by younger women.

Not only this, but Akassh Ashok Gupta also shared how some women are misusing the laws which were made to safeguard them. Akassh received many people's backing as they agreed with his statement that many young women are misusing the laws for their benefit. An excerpt from Akassh's tweet can be read as:

"This is not an isolated incident—we've seen too many such cases where laws that were meant to safeguard women are being weaponised, leaving elderly mothers helpless and vulnerable."

In terms of the investigation and details about this case, it is not confirmed whether the video is from Haryana or not. However, most publications have reported that the video is from Haryana. According to a report in the Free Press Journal, police have not taken any legal action in the case so far. However, as the case continues to rise and more people are tweeting and talking about it on social media, we will definitely see police intervention in this viral case soon.

Not only this, a netizen took a subtle dig at the police authority and judiciary for not taking any action despite the video going viral on social media. The internet user wrote, "Govt and Police toh Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia pe FIR karne me busy hain, Real jaha problems hain waha kuch nahi ho raha". The tweet resonated with most people, as we all know how fast the police and judiciary worked in their case of moral policing, whereas they're still silent on the real issue that needs immediate action.

Another important thing related to this case is that some media publications and news portals have reported that the daughter-in-law is beating her mother-in-law in the video. However, there are some speculations that the young lady, dubbed daughter-in-law by most reports, could be the victim's real daughter. There's still some confusion around their relationship, but in both cases, the younger lady's act is completely inhuman.
