Nargis (born as Fatima Rashid) became Nirmala Dutt to marry Sunil Dutt, Sharmila Tagore converted to Islam to become Begum Ayesha Sultana to be able to marry Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, and the most recent one to be added to this list is none other than Bollywood beauty Hazel Keech. Yes, Hazel became Gurbasant Kaur to marry Indian cricket team’s eligible bachelor Yuvraj Singh.
The suggestion to change Hazel's name to Gurbasant Kaur was made by Baba Ram Singh ji who happens to be Yuvraj’s family guru.
Hazel Keech’s father is British and her mother is a Mauritian Hindu of Bihari ancestry, and so, Hazel Keech became Gurbasant Kaur to marry Yuvi paaji according to Sikh traditions.

Hazel’s new name was given by saint Balvinder Singh. Hazel's Sikh name was announced at Anand Karaj, which took place at the Fatehgarh Sahib Gurdwara in Chandigarh.
The Anand Karaj ceremony was a quiet, intimate affair with only family members and a very few close friends in attendance.

Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech looked gorgeous in their maroon and beige, colour-coordinated outfits.
After the gurdwara ceremony, Yuvraj and Hazel had another wedding ceremony in Goa, which was as per Hindu-Bihari rituals. Post which, they lavish reception parties in Goa as well as Delhi.
Once again, wishing Yuvraj Singh and the pretty Hazel Keech aka Gurbasant Kaur a very happy married life ahead!
