Helen is one of the unmatched stars of the ‘70s and ‘80s decade of Bollywood, who simply swooned millions of audiences with her swift and graceful moves, on-point expressions, and whatnot. She is remembered for delivering some of the most terrific dance numbers to date, including Yeh Mera Dil from Don, Piya Tu Ab To Aaja from Caravan, Mehbooba Mehbooba from Sholay and many more. In her personal life, she is married to Salim Khan.
Recently, notable pilates trainer, Yasmin Karachiwala took to her social media handle and dropped a special video of veteran actress, Helen, who shared her journey of doing pilates. At the age of 85, the diva has certainly proven that age is just a number for her. In the clip, Helen could be seen doing several pilates exercises under the supervision of her trainer. Expressing how good she feels both physically and mentally, Helen revealed:

“I am feeling so energetic, so alive, so happy, and look forward to this every day. I feel so good. It gives me a high. I don’t have to drink or smoke to get a high. I get the high out of Pilates. I love coming here. I thank all the instructors and my special instructor, Bimal. I am 85. I am doing it.”

Coming to her personal life, Helen has frequently dominated headlines over her marriage to Salim Khan. The diva married the screenwriter at a time when he was already married to his wife, Salma Khan and was a father of their kids. Speaking along the same lines, Helen, in an earlier conversation with his step-son, Arbaaz Khan’s show, remembered the first time that she crossed paths with Salim Khan. She narrated:
“I didn't notice Salim Khan, not because of being a star, but because I was very to myself. One day, he asked Ajit saab 'yeh madam kisi ko dekhte bhi nahi, wish bhi nahi karte. So he said 'pucho mat, yeh sab logo ko furniture ke jaise dikhti hain."

In the same interview, Helen added that at no point during her relationship or subsequent marriage with Salim Khan, did she want to separate his first wife, Salma Khan from his life. Instead, Helen added that she had tremendous respect for the latter and thought it best to keep distance from her. Helen expressed:
“In the beginning, what I used to do, you know when I used to pass Bandstand, and I would know sometimes Mummy [Salma] is standing in the balcony, I would duck right down so she would not see me and think that the car would be empty near your house. I used to keep her respect so much.”

Previously, in another episode of Arbaaz Khan’s show, The Invincibles, Salim Khan had opened up about falling in love with his second wife, Helen, despite being already married to Salma Khan. He reasoned that while both of them were young back then, nevertheless, he initially didn’t want to do so. However, Salim concluded that their love story was an emotional accident.
