Hema Malini Gets Emotional As She Posts Some Unseen 'Treasured' Family Moments With Dharmendra

Dharmendra’s death has left a permanent void in the Indian cinema. Among his grieving family is his beloved Hema Malini, who broke all the societal barriers to be with him. As days pass, Dharmendra’s absence in her life makes her emotional. The actress recently posted some unseen, treasured family moments with him.

Hema Malini gets emotional looking at ‘treasured’ pictures with Dharmendra

Taking to her IG handle, Hema Malini posted an array of unseen pictures featuring Dharmendra and their daughters, Esha and Ahana. In one of the pictures, he and Hema were seen posing with a huge garland around their neck, looking madly in love. Another picture featured Dharmendra posing with Hema and a card in his hand.

The array of pictures also featured Dharmendra sharing father-daughter moments with his daughters, Esha and Ahana. Penning her emotions in the note, Hema revealed how the pictures unfold the treasured memories. In her words:

“Some lovely family moments… simply treasured photos. I know it is a surfeit of photos but these have not been published and my emotions are unfolding as I see these.”

Hema Malini shares her grief over losing her husband, Dharmendra

After Dharmendra’s death at 89, Hema Malini penned an emotional post and revealed how Dharmendra was everything to her. She called him a loving husband and adoring father of their two daughters, Esha and Ahaana. For Hema Malini, Dharmendra was not just a husband, but a friend, philosopher, guide, poet, and her go-to person. He has been with her in all the ups and downs of life. She wrote:

"He was many things to me. Loving Husband, adoring Father of our two girls, Esha & Ahaana, Friend, Philosopher, Guide, Poet, my ‘go to’ person in all times of need - in fact, he was everything to me! And always has been through good times and bad. He endeared himself to all my family members with his easy, friendly ways, always showing affection and interest in all of them."

Hema Malini looked shattered after Dharmendra’s death

On November 27, 2025, a photo of Hema Malini went viral. It was from her meeting with Ajit Pawar, who visited her home to offer his condolences after the demise of her husband, Dharmendra. Hema Malini was dressed in a white suit with small prints. In the picture, Hema looked devastated and grief-stricken. Dressed in a cream-coloured suit, the pain of losing her soulmate was clearly visible in her eyes.
